Abstract

setiap tahunnya diadakan pengerukan.
memodifikasi jetty kanal water intake agar laju sedimentasi menjadi
berkurang.
dilinierisasikan selama 12 bulan sebesar 88509.8199 m3, sedangkan volume
m3. Modifikasi bentuk jetty yang diberikan mampu mengurangi laju
sedimentasi di Kanal Water Intake PLTGU Grati, dengan pengurangan
volume sedimentasi paling optimum selama 12 bulan sebesar 63787.1473 m3.

Steam and Gas Power Plant (PLTGU) Grati has two jetties as the canal
water intake that used as the entrance of sea water which pumped from
Madura Strait towards the steam turbine-cooling engine. The deposition of
the sedimentary material around the canal water intake influence the amount
of water flow into the cooling engine, so almost every year the dredging is
held around. One of the handling alternative that could be done to reduce
the frequency of dredging is by modifying the jetty channel water intake, so
that sedimentation rate could be reduced. This study compares
sedimentation volume jetty that occur due to wave and current which
modelled using Mike 21 of the existing jetty and three alternatives jetty. The
result of existing jetty modelling indicates that linierization sedimentation
volume which lineared for 12 months amounted to 88509.8199 m3, whereas
the volume of sedimentation from the jetty alternatives 1, 2, and 3 are
generated for 12 months in a row was 24722.673 m3, 31230.261 m3, and
25060.3624 m3. The modified jetties could reduve the rate of sedimentation
in the Canal Water Intake PLTGU Grati, with the most optimum reduction
of sedimentation volume during 12 months is 63787.1473 m3.
