Abstract

Transportasi modern membutuhkan penerapan Teknologi Informasi dan
Komunikasi (TIK), diantaranya adalah teknologi e-ticketing yang
membutuhkan dukungan perangkat digital dan jaringan komunikasi. Agar
sistem e-ticketing selanjutnya merancang jaringan e-ticketing.
Perancangan awal membuat simulasi sistem e-ticketing pada browser
yang terhubung dengan database. Simulasi dilakukan dari proses tap-in,
pengurangan saldo, pengujian keamanan dan monitoring sistem.
Selanjutnya dilakukan Perancangan jaringan dengan bantuan software
NS-2 yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui Quality of Service (QoS) jaringan.
Pengujian sistem e-ticketing dilakukan dengan simulasi proses tap-in
715,832 kbps, delay sebesar 1,24432 ms, Jitter sebesar 583,730 ms.
Packet loss sebesar 3,8628 %.

Modern transportation needs to use information and communication
technology including e-ticketting which require support from digital
device and communication network. In order this electronic ticketting
payment running securely, fluent and same as management revenue
concept, hence the communcation protocol should be designed well. The
purpose of this final project is designing e-ticketting protocol system form
reading data with barcode, saving data in On Board Unit, communication
from OBU to access point until communication from internet to server.
Design and implementation will be done in two steps, the first step is
design e-ticketting system and then design e-ticketting network. The initial
design is creating e-ticketting system simulation on browser that can
connected to database server. This simulation conducted from tap-in
process, reducing balance, security testing and system monitoring. After
that, beginning network design with NS-2 software simulator which
purpose to know the quality of service.
The testing will be done by simulation in browser who that script can do
tap-in process that the output can be reducing ticket balance based on
price regulations, can reject transaction if ticket balance is insufficient
and can be display map with position of the vehiche. On testing eticketting
network, the result of throughput is 715,832 kbps, delay is
1,24432 ms, jitter is 583,730 ms and packet loss is 3,8628 %. From the
QOS result, that is one value that is less good, but for overall this
protocols has good quality.
