Abstract

Perancangan lereng tambang terbuka dalam eksploitasi batubara merupakan salah satu hal yang perlu diperhatikan karena hal ini menyangkut keselamatan pekerja, alat, dan kelancaran produksi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan desain lereng tambang terbuka lapangan batubara yang memenuhi syarat stabilitas. Analisa stabilitas pada desain lereng yang dirancang menggunakan metode bishop dan metode spencer. Kedua metode ini mempunyai perbedaan dalam penentuan kuat geser antar segmen. Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan pemodelan lereng tunggal dengan jumlah model sebanyak 15 model pada masing-masing lithologi. Sedangkan, untuk lereng keseluruhan digunakan 7 model geometri. Dari ke tujuh model tersebut, terdapat satu model dengan sudut lereng 230 yang memenuhi standard stabilitas dengan nilai Faktor Keamanan akhir 1,499 dengan metode Bishop dan 1,518 dengan metode spencer yang berarti lereng dalam keadaan stabil.

The design of open pit slopes in coal exploitation is one of the things to note. The purpose of this research is to obtain the design of open pit slopes of coal fields that qualify for stability. To perform a stability analysis of the design of the slopes, the Bishop and Spencer Methods are used. Both of these methods have differences in the determination of the shear strength between the segments. In this research, a single slope model is modeled with 15 models in each lithology. Meanwhile, for the whole slope, 7 models of geometry are used. Of the seven models, there is one model that meets the standard of stability with the value of Safety Factor 1.499 with Bishop method and 1,518 by spencer method.
