Abstract

========================================================================================================================In general, fish vessels use mechanical propulsion system with diesel motor as main driver. In order to create environmentally friendly conditions, the researchers re-planning using an electric propulsion system that comes from the battery. As the object of research is fish vessel type purse saine size 30 GT. Based on the calculation of power requirements, it is obtained 75 kW electric motor to achieve speed 9 knots with one day trip sailing system for 9 hours of shipping. According to the results of economic analysis, it is concluded that the use of electric propulsion system with Deep Blue Sealed battery type gel capacity of 220 Ah 24 Volt voltage and the amount of 104 fruit, is more profitable compared with the existing mechanical and conventional propulsion system.
