Abstract

Pada studi ini, dilakukan simulasi pemasangan distribued generator (photovoltaic) pada jaringan distribusi (TL-2DS4) sebagai salah satu cara untuk memperbaiki profil tegangan dan mengurangi rugi-rugi daya pada saluran distribusi. Penentuan lokasi dan ukuran DG dilakukan dengan teknik optimasi particle swarm optimization (PSO) yang bertujuan untuk menentukan lokasi dan ukuran DG yang menghasilkan rugi daya minimun pada saat beban puncak. Dengan Lokasi dan ukuran DG yang diperoleh dilakukan simulasi dengan kondisi beban yang berbeda. Hasil simulasi yang diperoleh menunjukkan profil tegangan dan rugi daya pada jaringan distribusi ketika terjadi perubahan beban. Jaringan distribusi TL-2DS4 bekerja paling efisien ketika beban 70%-90% beban puncak, yaitu ketika daya yang dibutuhkan beban hampir sama dengan kapasitas DG. Sehingga dalam studi ini akan dibahas mengenai sejauh mana efisiensi jaringan distribusi akibat pemanfaatan photovoltaic.

In this study conducted simulation of distributed generator (photovoltaic) in a power distribution system (TL-2DS4)in order to reduce the voltage drop dan power losses. In this studi, particle swarm optimization (PSO) is used as a tool to define the location and size of DG so the power loss at the peak load is minimum. With the size and location that was devined, power flow simulation of the system with different load was done. The study will show what is the impact of photovoltaic to voltage profil and power losses of distribution system with different load level. In TL-2DS4 distribution system, system with DG will transfer power at 70%-90% peak load, when the amount of power needed by the load is almost same with DG capacity. This study will show how effisien distribution sistem with DG will transfer electrical power.
