Abstract

In the last 5 (five) years, Solar Street Lighting is popular in local governments as an alternative to reduce operating costs, especially Street Lighting electricity costs. But Solar Street Lighting requires extra maintenance in order to generate maximum energy. Along with technological developments, Solar Street Lighting using Gateway Communication technology that serves to monitor and control the P Solar Street Lighting lamp via via SMS (Short Massage Service), but from this system has a deficiency in terms of integrating each lamp PJU Solar, because in controlling On/Off Solar Street Lighting by send SMS for one Solar Street Lighting and in terms of cost for control device and monitoring Solar Street Lighting is quite expensive.
To overcome these problems, it takes a control and monitoring device Solar Street Lighting using using microcontroller with wireless technology that is integrated with the principle of Wireless Sensor Network. In this Final Project has been made miniature Solar Street Lighting that are connected to use wireless technology and has been made application control and monitoring Solar Power PJU centrally using Android. Test results on the system shows the success of communication between master and slave is 98.98% with a maximum range of 60 meters in the open space and the success of the current sensor accuracy is 98.97% and the voltage sensor is 98.68%.
