Abstract

Rumah pompa PLTU pangkalan susu dibangun pada elevasi -11,35 sampai elevasi +16,35 dari permukaan tanah. Terdiri dari struktur atas dan struktur bawah; struktur atas didesain menggunakan rangka baja, terdiri dari balok, kolom, kuda-kuda dan gording, Struktur bawah didesain menggunakan struktur beton bertulang yang terdiri dari secant pile, bore pile, dan box. Metode pelaksanaan galian tanah didesain menggunakan secant pile sebagai dinding penahan tanah sekaligus dijadikan pondasi dan struktur box pada bangunan. Dalam permodelan struktur galian, tekanan tanah pasif dimodelkan berupa konstanta pegas yang memiliki besaran tertentu sesuai dengan parameter tanah yang ada. Secant pile diperkuat dengan bantuan supported beam dari struktur baja rangka batang. Galian dilakukan secara bertahap dimulai dari permukaan tanah dengan tahap pertama kedalaman galian adalah 2 meter, kemudian 6 meter, 9 meter, 14 meter. Hasil dari desain struktur dan metode pelaksanaan dijelaskan dalam tabel-tabel dan gambar-gambar.

The pump house of PLTU at Pangkalan Susu, North Sumatera was built at -11,35 to -16,35 from the ground level. The upper structure was designed using steel frame, as column, beam, and truss. The bottom structure is designed using a reinforced concrete structure as a secant pile, bore pile and box. Construction method of soil excavation was designed using secant pile as retaining wall as well as the foundation and box structure of the building. In the modeling of excavation structures, passive soil pressure is modeled as a spring constant that has a certain magnitude in accordance with the existing soil parameters. Secant pile was streghthened with truss as a supported beam from steel. The excavation done step by step from the ground level. First excavation is 2 meter at depth, 6 meters, 9 meters and the last at 14 meters. The result of the structure design and the method will showed in the form of tables and pictures.
