Abstract

Hotel Alimar merupakan bangunan yang terletak di Kota Surabaya. Berdasarkan nilai SPT pada lokasi bangunan, Hotel Alimar Surabaya merupakan gedung yang dibangun diatas tanah lunak (SE) dan dikenakan ke dalam KDS D. Oleh sebab itu, Hotel Alimar harus direncanakan dengan sistem struktur penahan beban lateral khusus sesuai dengan SNI 2847:2013 pasal 21. Gedung Hotel Alimar dimodifikasi dari 8 lantai menjadi 12 lantai. Struktur Hotel Alimar dimodifikasi dari Sistem Rangka Pemikul Momen menjadi sistem ganda yaitu rangka ruang pemikul beban gravitasi secara lengkap dan pemikul beban lateral berupa Sistem Rangka Pemikul Momen Khusus (SRPMK) dan dinding geser (Shearwall). Beban lateral yang dipikul bersama-sama oleh sistem rangka pemikul momen dan dinding geser menyebabkan beban lateral yang terjadi pada balok kolom lebih kecil.
Proses penentuan letak shearwall dilakukan dengan trial and error dan dilakukan pengecekan kontrol dinamis serta kontrol sistem ganda sesuai dengan SNI 03-1726-2012 hingga mendapatkan letak shearwall yang paling efektif.
Hasil perhitungan didapatkan empat tipe shearwall dengan ketebalan 300 mm pada arah x dan y yang terletak pada ujung dan tepi bangunan. Persen beban lateral yang diserap oleh Shearwall pada Gedung Hotel Alimar Surabaya yaitu sebesar 47,44% untuk arah x dan 74,85% untuk arah y.

Alimar Hotel is a building located in Surabaya City. Based on the SPT value at the building site, Alimar Hotel Surabaya is a building built on soft soil (SE) and subjected to seismic category design D. Therefore, Alimar Hotel should be planned with the special lateral load structural frame system based on SNI 2847-2013 section 21. The Alimar Hotel is modified from eight floors become twelve floors. Alimar structure is modified from moment resisting frame system become the dual system which was a complete gravity load bearing frame and a lateral load bearing in the form of special moment resisting frame system with a shearwall. The lateral loads that hold together by the moment bearing frame system and shearwall caused the lateral load that happened on the column and beams smaller.
The location of shearwall was choosen by trial and error then checking dynamic control as well as dual system control based on SNI 03-1726-2012 until got the most effective location of shearwall.
The result of calculations was four types of shearwall with 300mm thickness at x and y directions at the tip and edge of the building. Percentage of lateral system reserved by shearwall was 47,44% for x direction and 74,85% for y direction.
