Abstract

Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) merupakan salah satu proses yang dijalankan dalam menentukan tindakan yang seharusnya dilakukan untuk menjamin setiap komponen fisik atau suatu sistem dapat berjalan secara optimal sesuai dengan fungsi yang diinginkan oleh penggunanya. RCM menjalankan prinsip manajemen resiko dari kegagalan komponen sehingga tipe perawatan dapat ditentukan dengan tepat. Dengan menggunakan tipe perawatan yang tepat, maka kegagalan yang mungkin terjadi dapat terdeteksi dan dicegah sejak awal. Penggunaan yang tepat pada RCM, mampu memberikan dampak pada penghematan biaya, baik biaya perawatan maupun biaya perbaikan akibat terjadinya kegagalan.

Dalam penelitian ini, komponen yang menjadi objek penelitian adalah main engine dari tugboat KT.X milik PT. Pelindo Marine Service (PMS) Surabaya. Tugboat KT. X memiliki tingkat availability terendah dari seluruh tugboat milik perusahaan yaitu 80,01 persen. Tugboat merupakan salah satu aset utama PT. PMS yang menunjang ekonomi perusahaan. Oleh karena itu, meningkatkan efisiensi kegiatan operasi merupakan hal penting yang perlu dilakukan oleh suatu perusahaan. Efisiensi tersebut meliputi sumber daya manusia, analisa ekonomi dan keandalan sistem dari aset perusahaan. Hal ini dilakukan agar perusahaan dapat mengikuti persaingan di dunia maritim baik secara nasional maupun secara global.

Dengan melakukan proses RCM pada main engine KT. X, dapat ditentukan tingkat prioritas terhadap kegagalan komponen yang memiliki konsekuensi kritis. Sehingga dapat menghasilkan sistem perawatan yang terencana dengan baik dan efisien.

Berdasarkan hasil dari penelitian ini, terdapat 76 jenis tasklist yang diperoleh berdasarkan analisa maintenance task allocation and planning. Dimana prosentase jenis perawatan dari masing-masing failure mode (tasktype) Preventive Maintenance (PM) sebesar 39,47 persen, Condition Monitoring (CM) sebesar 19,74 persen, Finding Failure (FF) sebesar 30,26 persen dan One-Time Change (OTC) sebesar 10,53 persen. Tasklist visual incpection, cleaning of contaminant and hydrostatic pressure test banyak direkomendasikan dan menjadi tasklist dengan jumlah kegiatan perawatan tertinggi. Hal ini dikarenakan sebagian besar failure mode yang terjadi pada Tugboat KT.X merupakan kerusakan pipa, valve, dan pompa. Sehingga dalam mendeteksi terjadinya kerusakan, kebocoran atau identifikasi karakteristik dari komponen, dapat dilakukan tasklist tersebut.
==========================================================Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) is one of the processes that used to decisive action which should be performed to ensure any physical components or a system be able to work optimally in accordance with the function desired by its users. Basically, RCM used a risk management principles of the component failure, so that the type of maintenance can be determined properly. By using an appropriate type of maintenance, the possibility failures in a component can be detected and prevented earlier. A proper use of RCM be able to give a positive impact on cost savings, both maintenance costs and repair costs as the consequence of failures.

In this research, the components which become the object of research is the main engine of the KT. X tugboat which belongs to PT. Pelindo Marine Service (PMS) Surabaya. KT. X tugboat has the lowest level of availability from all tugboat owned by the company which is 80.01 percent. Tugboat is one of the main assets of PT. PMS which support the company income. Therefore, improving the efficiency of operating activity is an important action to be done by the company. These efficiencies include human resources, economy analysis and reliability system of the company assets. These attempts are done in order to follow the competition in maritime world both nationally and globally.

Determining priority levels about the failure components which have critical consequences can be done through the RCM process on the KT. X main engine. Thus, it results on the well planned and efficient maintenance system.

Based on the results of this research, there were 76 tasklist type which is obtained based on the analysis of maintenance task allocation and planning. The percentage of maintenance types from each failure mode (tasktype) Preventive Maintenance (PM) is 39.47 percent, Condition Monitoring (CM) is 19.74 percent, Finding Failure (FF) is 30.26 percent and One-Time Change (OTC) is 10.53 percent. Visual incpection, cleaning of contaminant and hydrostatic pressure test have been highly recommended and become tasklists with the highest number of maintenance activities. It is because the most of failures mode which occurs at the Tugboat KT. X are the damage in the pipe, valve, and pump. Thus, in detecting a damage, leakage or the identification of the component characteristics can be done by the tasklist.
