Abstract

Dalam penelitian tugas akhir ini dilakukan implementasi Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) II pada sistem Boiler. Sistem Boiler terdiri dari beberapa komponen pendukung yang berfungsi untuk memanaskan air sampai terbentuk air panas atau steam. Air panas atau steam pada tekanan tertentu kemudian digunakan untuk mengalirkan panas ke suatu proses. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keandalan sistem, menganalisa keandalan komponen sistem yang berdampak pada pemeliharaan efektif, menentukan usaha pencegahan untuk mengantisipasi terjadinya kegagalan, dan menyiapkan input untuk dimasukkan ke dalam software RCM Dekstop. Berdasarkan hasil analisis secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode RCM II, nilai keandalan sistem Boiler B-1102 pada waktu 3 bulan (2160 jam) adalah 0,4133 dan jenis perawatan yang diterapkan pada sistem Boiler adalah on condition monitoring pada Transmitter Level Transmitter, Flow Transmitter, Temperature Transmitter dan Pressure Transmitter serta Perbaikan unit Tube Economizer dan Tube Superheater setiap TA (Turn Arround), cek looping dan perbaikan Flow Valve, Level Valve, Pressure Safety Valve setiap TA dan penggantian Demister Pad setiap 2 Tahun.

The implementation of Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) II on Boiler system. Boiler System consists of several supporting components that serve to heat the water to form hot water or steam. Hot water or steam at a certain pressure is then used to drain the heat to a process. This study aims to determine the reliability of the system, analyze the reliability of system components that impact on effective maintenance, determine the prevention effort to anticipate the occurrence of failure, and prepare inputs to be incorporated into the Desktop RCM software. Based on the result of quantitative and qualitative analysis using RCM II method, the reliability value of B-1102 Boiler system at 3 months (2160 hours) is 0.4133 and the type of treatment applied to the Boiler system is on condition monitoring on Transmitter Level Transmitter, Flow Transmitter, Temperature Transmitter and Pressure Transmitter as well as Tube Economizer and Tube Superheater Repair every TA (Turn Arround), check looping and repair Flow Valve, Level Valve, Pressure Safety Valve every TA and change Demister Pad every 2 Years.
