Abstract

Unit yang berperan penting dalam pembentukan NH3 (amonia) cair di pabrik 4 PT. Pupuk Kalimantan Timur adalah bagian subsistem dari CO2 Removal (Washing Section). CO2 Removal memiliki fungsi untuk memisahkan CO2 dari MDEA yang merupakan larutan penyerap untuk CO2. Pada Washing Section berfungsi meregenerasi larutan MDEA. Dalam upaya menambah kualitas dan kuantitas produksi diperlukan keandalan setiap komponen. Jika dari komponen tersebut mengalami kerusakan, maka akan mengakibatkan proses produksi kurang optimal. Pada susbsitem ini telah beroperasi sejak tahun 2003 perlu dilakukan analisis Reliability Centered Maintenance dengan metode kualitatif dan kuantitatif dalam mengatur maintenance. Analisa kualitatif dengan Failure Mode & Effect Aanalysis (FMEA) untuk mengetahui kegagalan dan efek kegagalan dari komponen serta failure consequence untuk mengetahui pemilihan langkah strategi maintenance. Analisa kuantitatif dengan Reliability Block Diagram (RBD) untuk mengetahui nilai reliability dari CO2 Removal (Washing Section). CO2 Removal (Washing Section) memiliki nilai reliability 0.807 ketika 255 jam operasi. Dan strategi maintenance yaitu 44% scheduled restoration task dan untuk on condition task dan no scheduled task sebesar 25%. Untuk sisanya adalah failure finding task sekitar 6%.

Units that play an important role in the formation of NH3 (ammonia) liquid at PT. East Kalimantan Fertilizer is part of the subsystem of CO2 Removal (Washing Section). CO2 Removal has a function to separate CO2 from MDEA which is an absorbent solution for CO2. In the Washing Section function to regenerate MDEA solution. In an effort to increase the quality and quantity of production required the reliability of each component. If the component is damaged, it will result in less optimal production process. In this susbsitem has been operating since 2003 need to be done Reliability Centered Maintenance analysis with qualitative and quantitative methods in managing maintenance. Qualitative analysis with Failure Mode & Effect Aanalysis (FMEA) to determine failure and failure effect of component and failure consequence to know the selection of maintenance strategy step. Quantitative analysis with Reliability Block Diagram (RBD) to know the reliability value of CO2 Removal (Washing Section). CO2 Removal (Washing Section) has a reliability value of 0.807 when 255 hours of operation. And the maintenance strategy is 44% scheduled restoration task and for on-task task and no scheduled task of 25%. For the rest is failure finding task about 6%.
