Abstract

Kegiatan pertambangan minyak dan gas di Indonesia sering kali
memiliki medan yang sulit, sehingga akses pun sulit dengan
menggunakan kendaraan darat ataupun kapal. Untuk mengatasi
kendala tersebut dibutuhkan sebuah kendaraan yang mampu
berjalan di berbagai medan dengan kecepatan dan kemampuan
manuver yang handal. Hovercraft atau Air Cushion Vehicle
(ACV) memiliki kriteria tersebut. Penelitian ini akan mendesain
sebuah model hovercraft untuk keperluan suplai kegiatan
pertambangan dengan kapasitas 20 pax. Ukuran utama hovercraft
adalah panjang = 12,8 meter; lebar = 6,6 meter; tinggi = 2,5
meter; dan tinggi bantalan = 0,5 meter. Akan di desain pula
hovercraft yang memiliki nilai futuristik dan ergonomis, sehingga
nyaman bagi penumpang. Perancangan hovercraft ini
menggunakan software AutoCad dan Solidwork.

Oil and gas drilling activity in Indonesia sometimes facing a
difficult location which hards to access wheter using land
vehicles or marine vehicles. A vehicle which can travel on
different condition, has enough speed and good manouverability
becomes necessity in order to overcome the problem. Hovercraft
or Air Cushion Vehicle (ACV) matched the criteria. In this study
will design a hovercraft model for supply vessel with capacity 20
pax. The principal dimensions of hovercraft are length = 12.8
meter; breadth = 6.6 meter; height = 2.5 meter; and skirt‟s height
= 0.5 meter. The additional design factors are futuristic and
ergonomic for the passanger‟s comfort. This hovercraft design
using softwares such as AutoCad and Solidwork.
