Abstract

Di dalam dunia persaingan global persaingan antar kompetitor semakin ketat
sehingga dalam faktanya bisnis usaha yang dijalankan perlu terus untuk
dikembangkan dan dilakukan perbaikan sehingga perusahaan mampu tumbuh dan
bersaing. PT X. Sebuah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang furniture mempunyai
beberapa hasil produk yaitu twinbed, kasur busa, divan dan matrass. Yang menjadi
fokus utama adalah twinbed karena produksi twinbed mempunyai leadtime produksi
yang di pengaruhi proses yang kompleks di PT.X. Berdasarkan data output produksi
di produksi twinbed tidak stabil seperti adanya kelebihan permintaan produksi dan
mengidikasikan adanya cacat produk seperti ketidakpresisian hasil spring sebesar
0,6%, proses pendinginan busa yang memakan waktu sehingga kualitas busa tidak
maksimal, kualitas kayu yang kekuatannya berbeda-beda, alur distribusi pengiriman
WIP yang tidak efesien waktu yang pada akhirnya membuat lead time produksi
menjadi panjang dan tidak efektif. Analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini
adalah penggunakan metode Lean Manufacturing, Value Stream Mapping(VSM),
analisis Value Stream Tools(VALSAT) Hasil yang didapat dari analisis VSM dan
VALSAT adalah (1)big picture mapping current state map dan future state map, (2)
mengetahui value added dan non value added didalam proses produksi, (3) membuat
skala prioritas terhadap 7 waste untuk meminimalisir pemborosan diproses produksi.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, didapatkan jenis pemborosan yang paling sering terjadi
adalah inventory (17%), Transportation( 16%), Defective Part (15%). Mapping tools
yang digunakan berdasarkan hasil konversi skor kedalam matrik VALSAT adalah
Process Activity Mapping (35%dan Supply Chain Respone Matrix (21%). Dari
Process Activity Mapping dapat diketahui bahwa proporsi waktu transportation
sebesar (14%) aktifitas ini termasuk necessary but non added value(NNVA). Setelah
perbaikan didapatkan hasil proporsi transportation sebesar (15%). Untuk nilai Value
Added Ratio (VAR) sebelum perbaikan sebesar (75%) setelah penerapan perbaikan
nilai VAR menjadi (79%).

In the world of global competition increasingly fierce competition among
competitors so that in fact the business carried on the business needs to continue to
be developed and carried out repairs so the company is able to grow and compete.
PT X. A company engaged in the field of furniture has several products that result
twinbed, foam mattresses, divan and matrass. The primary focus is twinbed because
twinbed production has influenced the production leadtime complex process in PT.X.
Based on data from the production output in the production twinbed not as stable as
the excess demand for production and indicate any product defects such as no
precision spring results by 0.6%, the foam cooling process takes so that the foam
quality was not optimal, quality wood whose strength varies, distribution groove
WIP inefficient delivery time which ultimately makes long lead time and production
becomes ineffective. The analysis used in this study is the use of methods of Lean
Manufacturing, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), analysis of Value Stream Tools
(VALSAT) The results of the analysis of VSM and VALSAT are (1) the big picture
mapping current state map and future state map, ( 2) know the value added and non
value added in the production process, (3) make a priority of the 7 processed waste
to minimize waste production. Based on this research, it was found that the most
frequent types of wastage occurs is inventory (17%), Transportation (16%),
Defective Part (15%). Mapping tools used by the results of converting scores into the
matrix VALSAT is Process Activity Mapping (35% and Supply Chain Respone Matrix
(21%). Of the Process Activity Mapping can be seen that the proportion of the time
of transportation of (14%) of these activities include Necessary but non added value
(NNVA). Once the repair is obtained proportion of transportation (15%). For the
value of Value Added Ratio (VAR) before the improvement of (75%) after
implementation of improvement VAR value into (79%).
