Abstract

Volume LNG
yang di butuhkan adalah 10000 m3. Hasil simulasi dan analisa
kekuatan tabung menunjukkan nilai maksimum stress yang terjadi
55,6 N/mm2 dan nilai minimum stress 0,2 N/mm2dengan nilai
strain 6,164 x 10-3, displacement 6,159 mm dan factor of safety

The utilization of natural gas in the form of LNG is an alternative
to solve the problem-solving of power crisis. The utilization of
natural gas must be supported with facilities support, where
support facilities are meant here is the availability of ship
carrying and facilities support in producing, processing and
distributing. Analysis of the material stress is one of thing that is
very important in determining whether or not the structures that
strong ship construction. On the process design, the input
required is volume of LNG that necessary, and calculation of
tube plate thickness, design and support of tube tube mini LNG.
The volume of LNG is needed is 10000 m3. The result of
simulation and analysis show that the strength of tank, maximum
value of stress that occurs at 55,6 N/mm2and the minimum of
minimum stress value is 0.2 N / mm2, with a value of strain is
6.164 x 10-3, displacement is 6.159 mm and a factor of safety of
2.6. While the results of simulation and analysi the strength of
support shows the maximum value of the stress that occurs
3.20646 x 108 N / m2 and the minimum stress value is 1.29278 N /
m2 with a value of strain is 1.611 x 10-12, displacement is 1.831
mm and a factor of safety of 1.4.
