Abstract

Giant Sea Wall Jakarta is a retaining embankment built in the bay of Jakarta to protect the northern coastal areas from erosion and tidal seawater causing rob floods. In addition, Giant SeaWall Jakarta also serves as a retaining wall of reclaimed land.
The structure’s form is sheet pile. From the data planning of Giant SeaWall Jakarta by PT.WIKA Beton,it was found that the planned loading was only due to the static load which was an additional load of 15 kN/m2 on the reclaimed soil. Unplanned structure to dynamic load is the possibility of an earthquake. This structure will serve as a preliminary design. The structure will be elastically designed. From the results of the analys is that has been done, it can be concluded that the biggest moment is due to dynamic load with an analytical way that is 2391,7 kNm/m with 24 m long cylinder pile and 1.2 m in diameter. In the cross-sectional analysis, a prestressing is obtained at -18.29 MPa. After calculated crack moment of cross section, got bigger than moment that happened that is equal to 2784,5 kNm/m. So the previous preliminary design can be used for the structure of Giant Sea Wall Jakarta.
