Abstract

Alat perajang bahan baku keripik yang beredar di masyarakat Indonesia sudah bermacam-macam bentuknya. Salah satunya perajang konvensional yang berbentuk kotak dengan pisau di tengah-tengah dan perajang keripik semi-otomatis. Alat yang sudah ada didesain hanya untuk merajang singkong saja, sedangkan banyak sekali bahan baku yang bisa dirajang selain singkong. Selain itu, alat tersebut juga memiliki kapasitas yang kecil dan kurang nyaman saat yang digunakan. Oleh karena itu, alat perajang yang sudah ada akan dikembangkan dalam segi kapasitas, ketebalan hasil potongan, dan kenyamanan penggunaan (ergonomis)

There are many the raw material of crispy chips with many shapes in Indonesia. One of them is the convensional that the shape is rectangular with the blade in the middle and the semi-automatics. They designed only for cutting the cassava, meanwhile there are many materials that can be produced into crispy chips. In addition, the raw materials have a minimum of capacity and not comfortable for the operator. Then, the raw material will be developed in the capacity , shape of the raw material result, and the value for ergonomics concepts.
