Abstract

Panel surya merupakan suatu alat pengkonversi energi matahari menjadi
energi listrik. Pada penjajak panel surya terdapat pengendali untuk mengatur
gerak panel surya supaya tegak lurus terhadap matahari. Penelitian terdahulu
telah berhasil mendesain pengendali Type 2 Fuzzy Sliding Mode Control
(T2FSMC) untuk mengontrol posisi panel surya terhadap matahari. Namun
didalamnya terdapat proses trial and error dalam menentukan gain scale
factor sehingga diperlukan pengembangan metode optimasi. Pada tesis ini
dirancang kembali pengendali T2FSMC dengan penambahan optimasi pada
gain scale factor menggunakan Firefly Algorithm. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan
bahwa T2FSMC Firefly mempunyai performa yang lebih baik dari T2FSMC.
T2FSMC Firefly menunjukkan penikangkatan performa pada rise time,
settling time, dan integral time absolute error. ========== Solar panel is a solar energy converter to electrical energy.
On solar
tracker, there is a controller which sets the movement of solar panel such
that solar panel is perpendicular with solar rays.
Previous research had
designed Type 2 Fuzzy Sliding Mode Control (T2FSMC) controller to control
the position of solar panel. However, there were trial and error process to
determine gain scale factor so the development of optimization method is
needed. This paper aimed to modify gain scale factor using Firefly algorithm
to increase performance of system. The simulations showed that T2FSMC
Firefly had better performance than T2FSMC. T2FSMC Firefly showed an
increasing performance on rise time, settling time, and integral time absolute
error.
