Abstract

Kantor pemerintahan merupakan salah satu bangunan yang boros menggunakan energi. Khusus untuk sistem tata udara, bangunan ini menggunakan 47% total energi bangunan, dimana 20%-50% energi pendinginan tersebut disebabkan oleh fasad bangunan. Panas yang masuk melalui fasad berpotensi untuk meningkatkan beban pendinginan bangunan.
Kantor pemerintah di Surabaya sangat banyak dan memiliki desain fasad yang sangat variatif. Berdasarkan kondisi tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kinerja energi pendinginan fasad Kantor Pemerintahan di lapangan, mengetahui pengaruh fasad (geometri, material, WWR, dan shading device) terhadap kinerja energi pendinginan dan menemukan desain fasade (kombinasi geometri, material, WWR, dan shading device) kantor pemerintah yang memiliki kinerja energi pendinginan paling efisien.
Metode yang digunakan untuk menjawab tujuan penelitian adalah eksperimen dengan menggunakan dua pendekatan yaitu pengamatan lapangan dan simulasi menggunakan software ecotect. Penelitian dilakukan dengan mengevaluasi pengaruh fasad (geometri, material, WWR, dan shading device) terhadap kinerja energi pendinginan. Evaluasi efisiensi energi didasarkan IKE listrik bangunan ber-AC dan OTTV.
Hasil penelitian lapangan menunjukkan desain fasad kantor pemerintah di Surabaya telah memenuhi standar konservasi energi, yakni dengan OTTV lebih kecil dari 35 Watt/m². Berdasarkan hasil ekperimen diketahui mengubah variabel WWR sangat berpengaruh terhadap kinerja energi pendinginan, yaitu sekitar 10%, material 9,7%, geometri 8,3% dan peneduh 7% dan kombinasi geometri, material, WWR, dan shading devices sangat efisien terhadap energi pendinginan adalah bangunan persegi panjang dengan perbandingan lebar terhadap panjang (W/L rasio) 0,6, dinding menggunakan material beton ringan, kacanya menggunakan double low-e, WWR 60% dan menggunakan peneduh vertikal-horizontal ===============
Government office is a building type that consumes huge energy. The HVAC takes 47% of the energy, where 20% -50% of the cooling energy loss in building facade. The heat transfer is increasing the potential of building cooling load.
There are many government office buildings in Surabaya and varies with facade�s design. Based on that condition, the research questioning the cooling energy performance of the facade in existing office buildings; the influence of the facade (geometry, materials, WWR, and shading devices) in cooling energy performance; and find the facade design (combination of geometry, materials, WWR, and shading devices) of the government office buildings which have the most efficient cooling energy performance.
The research use experiments of field observation as well as Ecotect computer simulation. It evaluates the influence of facade (geometry, materials, WWR, and shading devices) on cooling energy performance. The evaluation of energy efficiency is based on IKE electrical building and OTTV.
The results as follows: the first, the facade design of government office buildings in Surabaya have met the energy conservation standards, ie with OTTV smaller than 35 Watt/m². The second, thick skin typology is the best cooling energy performance; and the third result, the proper selection of wall openings (WWR) has the potential to improve cooling energy performance up to 21,89%, the geometry up to 14,84%, materials up to 11,07% and shading devices up to 3,97%. And the fourth, the most efficient energy performance facade design is a rectangular building with 0.6 ratio of width to the length (W/L ratio), the walls use the lightweight concrete material, the double low-e glass, WWR 60% and the use of vertical-horizontal devices.
