Abstract

Gangguan dinamik pada sistem tenaga listrik terjadi karena
adanya perubahan beban secara tiba-tiba dan periodik. Gangguan
dinamik pada sistem tenaga listik tidak dapat direspon dengan baik oleh
generator sehingga dapat mempengaruhi kestabilan dinamik sistem. Hal
ini menyebabkan timbulnya osilasi frekuensi pada generator. Respon
yang kurang baik dapat menimbulkan osilasi frekuensi dalam periode
yang lama. Hal itu akan mengakibatkan generator lepas sinkron. Untuk
mengatasi hal tersebut, generator memerlukan kontroler tambahan yaitu
Power System Stabilizer (PSS). Untuk mendapatkan koordinasi PSS
yang tepat, Parameter pada PSS dioptimisasi menggunakan Bat
Algorithm (BA). Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa penalaan parameter
PSS menggunakan BA untuk perbaikan stabilitas dinamik berfungsi
untuk mempercepat settling time dan meredam overshoot respon
perubahan frekuensi dan respon perubahan sudut rotor pada sistem
tenaga listrik Single Machine Infinite Bus (SMIB)

ynamic disturbances of the power system occurs due to load
changes suddenly and periodic. Dynamic disturbances on the electric
power system can not be responded well by the generator so as to affect
the dynamic stability of the system. This leads to oscillation frequency
of the generator. Poor response may cause oscillation frequency over a
long period. It will lead to loose synchronous generator. To overcome
this, the generator requires an additional controller which is Power
System Stabilizer (PSS). To get the proper coordination of PSS, PSS
parameters on optimized using Bat Algorithm (BA). The simulation
results show that the tuning of PSS parameters using BA for dynamic
stability improvement works to accelerate the settling time and reduce
overshoot response frequency changes and the response of the rotor
angle change of the power system Single Machine Infinite Bus (SMIB)
