Abstract

Pemanfaatan teknologi informasi akhir-akhir ini menjadi hal yang sangat krusial bagi sebuah organisasi, tak terkecuali untuk dimanfaatkan sebagai penunjang proses bisnis di organisasi tersebut Hal ini berlaku juga di organisasi seperti perguruan tinggi, salah satunya adalah Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), salah satunya untuk data profil lulusan ITS. Meskipun sudah memiliki sistem informasi Tracer ITS untuk mengatasi data profil lulusan ITS, belum terintegrasinya sistem pelaporan secara menyeluruh membuat pelaporan profil lulusan ITS tersebut harus dilakukan secara manual dan berulang tiap tahunnya.

Masalah tersebut disebabkan oleh belum adanya pembuatan data mart dan dashboard yang berjalan pada sistem informasi Tracer ITS tersebut secara otomatis. Untuk itu, tugas akhir ini menjabarkan tentang implementasi data mart dan dashboard pada sistem informasi Tracer ITS. Pembuatan dashboard didasarkan pada kebutuhan kontrak kinerja Kepala Subdit Pengembangan Karir dan Kewirausahaan ITS, pun dengan data martnya. Secara umum, proses ETL dilakukan dengan menggunakan stored procedure secara manual, termasuk query linked server dan JSON query.

Sebagai kesimpulan, dashboard Power BI disusun dengan halaman pertama memuat data kontrak kinerja secara keseluruhan, lalu terdapat halaman dashboard pendukung lainnya untuk memenuhi kebutuhan yang lebih spesifik. Meskipun terdapat beberapa masalah implementasi akibat tidak adanya data yang dibutuhkan, hasil dashboard yang telah dites dapat memenuhi otomasi pelaporan alumni oleh PK2M ITS dan mendapatkan hasil yang memuaskan pada tahap penerimaan pengguna. ============= Information technology utilization lately becomes an important part for any organizations, including its role in supporting its business process. This issue is also applied to any higher level education organizations or universities, such as Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), in developing their alumni profile. Although Tracer ITS is already implemented to solve the profile issue, the unintegrated reporting system from Tracer ITS is still forcing them to report the annual alumni profile manually.

However, we found that the problem is caused by the absence of reporting automation, which consists of data mart and dashboard that running automatically for Tracer ITS. That being said, this thesis will explain how data mart and dashboard for Tracer ITS are implemented. In this case, dashboard development is based on the employment contract requirement of Head of Student Career Development Center (PK2M) ITS, as well as the data mart. Furthermore, manual stored procedure is used in the ETL process, including linkedserver and JSON query.

As a conclusion, the Power BI dashboard consists of the employment contract performance on the first page, followed by other more specific dashboard pages. However, although there was an implementation problem in data availability, the tested final dashboard fulfilled the alumni reporting process need and also get satisfactory results in user acceptance test.
