Abstract

Human and architecture are two things that can not be separated from each other. In the sense of an architecture as a facility, then basically the architecture becomes a container for humans to perform various activities. On the one hand, the human need for activity continues to evolve from time to time.
Physical problems relate to non-expanding architectures that can not accommodate the overpopulation results in a rigid architecture. This problem could have an impact on the life-cycle that relatively short and possibly the worst that could happen is related to the irregular city arrangement.
Non-physical problems relate to the "value" degradation of the architecture itself to its users. This is due to the architecture that is limited to fulfilling the function of the user regardless of crucial factors as well as the relationship between the architecture with its users and can not adjust to changes in activity that occur so that architecture is considered to be nothing more than just a "dead object".
The concept of biomimicry which refers to the morphology of living organisms is considered to solve the existing problems. In this case, architecture can have specific characteristics possessed by living organisms such as growing, regeneration, and evolution that are expected to answer the problem to meet the need for architecture and sensitive to changes that occur.
