Abstract

Heat Exchanger adalah alat penukar kalor yang berfungsi untuk mengubah temperature dan fasa suatu jenis fluida. Proses tersebut terjadi dengan memanfaatkan proses perpindahan kalor dari fluida suhu tinggi menuju fluida suhu rendah. Di dalam dunia industri peran dari heat exchanger sangat penting. Pada penelitian ini, difokuskan pada usaha untuk memaksimalkan pengendalian Laju aliran air panas yang akan masuk ke alat heat exchanger. Secara umum cara kerjanya yaitu jika Laju aliran yang masuk ke inlet Heat exchanger terlalu cepat maka didapatkan Suhu rendah atau kurang dari set point yang di teitapkan yaitu 50°C. Jika laju aliran terlalu lambat bahkan berhenti maka Temperatur akan tinggi atau melebihi set point. Cara yang digunakan untuk memanipulasi Laju aliran dan Suhu adalah dengan mengatur buka-tutup katup valve menggunakan metode pengendalian close loop. untuk mencapai setpoint 50°C di dapatkan 60 menit di posisi plant start up dari suhu air biasa 24°C dengan valve buka 100% dengan maximum flow sebesar 8 Liter/menit.

Heat Exchanger is a heat exchange device that serves to change the temperature and phase of a fluid type. The process occurs by utilizing the process of heat transfer from high temperature fluid to low temperature fluid. In the industrial world the role of the heat exchanger is very important. In this research, focused on efforts to maximize the control of hot water flow that will enter the heat exchanger tool. In general, the way it works is that if the flow into the inlet Heat exchanger is too fast then the Temperature is obtained low or less than the set point is set at 50 ° C. If the flow is too slow to even stop then the temperature will be high or exceed the set point. The way used to manipulate flow and temperature is by arranging open-close valve using the metode close loop control. The valve to reach the setpoint 50 ° C in obtaining 60 minutes at the plant starts the position of the usual water temperature 24 ° C with 100% open valve with a maximum flow of 8 Liters / minute.
