Abstract

Salah satu permasalahan sistem pembangkitan tenaga listrik di
Indonesia adalah kebutuhan tenaga listrik yang mengalami peningkatan
secara pesat. Sistem pembangkitan dan penyaluran tenaga listrik yang
ada saat ini tidak akan bisa memenuhi kebutuhan tenaga listrik yang
terus meningkat. Distributed Generation (DG) merupakan pembangkit
tenaga listrik yang terhubung dengan jaringan distribusi atau langsung
terhubung ke beban. DG mempunyai kelebihan selain membangkitkan
daya, termasuk mengurangi kerugian daya, meningkatkan profil
tegangan, meningkatkan kestabilan sistem, mengurangi polusi emisi, dll.
HPSO merupakan modifikasi kecerdasan buatan yaitu PSO yang
menirukan perilaku burung dalam mencari makanan. Pada tugas akhir
ini dilakukan optimasi penentuan kapasitas dan peletakkan multiDG
dengan menggunakan algoritma HPSO pada sistem radial IEEE 33 bus.
Simulasi dilakukan menggunakan software MATLAB. Dari hasil
simulasi yang diperoleh, pemasangan multi DG pada sistem distribusi
dapat memperbaiki profil tegangan sistem pada tiap bus dan mengurangi
kerugian daya pada sistem.

One of the biggest problem in power system is the demand of
power system is growing exponentially. The existing generation and
transmission system are unable to support the power demand.
Distributed Generation (DG) is a power plant that located in
distribution network and it ussually placed in load bus. DG has many
advantages over generate power, including power losses reduction,
voltage profile improvement, system stability improvement, pollutant
emmision reduction and others.. HPSO is a modification of Artificial
Intelligent, PSO that imitate birds when they look for foods. In this final
project, placement and sizing DG in IEEE 33 bus radial distribution
system has been optimized using HPSO with MATLAB. The test results
show that setting DG in distribution system using HPSO can improve
the voltage profile in each bus of the system and also can decrease total
power losses in distribution system
