Abstract

Perencanaan penyimpanan bahan baku (ingredient) di gudang merupakan salah satu hal yang penting untuk meningkatkan keuntungan. PT. X memproduksi beberapa produk sabun dan bahan-bahan sabun yang menggunakan beberapa jenis ingredient yang disimpan di dua gudang. Jumlah penyimpanan ingredient di gudang untuk masing-masing produk berbeda-beda, perusahaan ingin dapat mengalokasikan penyimpanan ingredientnya di gudang secara optimum. Untuk dapat mengalokasikan jumlah penyimpanan ingredient secara optimal, penulis menggunakan metode Linear Programming, analisa data yang dilakukan menggunakan bantuan software Lingo Unlimited. Linear Programming digunakan untuk mengalokasikan jumlah penyimpanan ingredient di gudang, agar diperoleh keuntungan optimal dari produk yang dibuat dengan ingredient tersebut. Sedangkan batasannya adalah demand, kapasitas pasar ingredient, kapasitas gudang, budget yang tersedia dan proporsionalitas ingredient. Berdasarkan pengumpulan data dan pengolahan data, dilakukan perhitungan alokasi jumlah penyimpanan ingredient. Agar diperoleh alokasi jumlah penyimpanan optimal, PT. X seharusnya mengalokasikan penyimpanan ingredient sejumlah: ingredient 1 = 1188.58 ton, ingredient 2 = 300 ton, ingredient 3 = 400 ton, ingredient 4 = 700 ton, ingredient 5 = 1135.61 ton, ingredient 6 = 513.79 ton, ingredient 7 = 706.74 ton, ingredient 8 = 142 ton, ingredient 9 = 142 ton, ingredient 10 = 25.71 ton , ingredient 11 = 203.33 ton, ingredient 12 = 25.63 ton, ingredient 13 = 0.09 ton, ingredient 14 = 0.37 ton, ingredient 15 = 142.11 ton, ingredient 16 = 19.10 ton , ingredient 17 = 92 05 ton, ingredient 18 = 57.30 ton, ingredient 19 = 0. 86 ton, ingredient 20 = 129.39 ton, ingredient 21 = 776.37 ton, ingredient 22 = 0.19 ton. Selain itu didapat juga jumlah optimal ingredient yang harus disimpan pada masingmasing gudang.

The planning of ingredient storing in storehouse is an important thing that
influences the increase of profit obtaining. PT. X produces some soap products
and the materials used by the soap use some kind of ingredient which is stored in
two storehouses. The amount of the ingredient storing in the storehouse is
different for each product, and the company wants to be able to allocate the
ingredient storing in the storehouse optimally.
To allocate the amount of the ingredient storing optimally, the author uses
Linear Programming method, data analysis performed uses Lingo Unlimited
software. Linear Programming is used to allocate the amount of the ingredient
storing in the storehouse, in order to obtain maximmn profit of the products
yielded which use the ingredient. The limits are demand, market capacity of the
ingredient, storehouse capacity, available budget, and proportionality of the
ingredient.
Pursuant to data gathering and processing, the calculation of the amount of
the ingredient storing is conducted. To obtain the optimmn allocation, PT. X
should allocate the ingredient storing in the amount of: ingredient 1 = 1188.58
tons, ingredient 2 = 300 tons, ingredient 3 = 400 tons, ingredient 4 = 700 tons,
ingredient 5 = 1135.61 tons, ingredient 6 = 513.79 tons, ingredient 7 = 706.74
tons, ingredient 8 = 142 tons, ingredient 9 = 142 tons, ingredient l 0 = 25 .71 tons,
ingredient 11 = 203.33 tons, ingredient 12 = 25 .63 tons, ingredient 13 = 0.09 tons,
ingredient 14 = 0.37 tons, ingredient 15 = 142.11 tons, ingredient 16 = 19.10 tons,
ingredient 17 = 92.05 tons, ingredient 18 = 53.70 tons, int:,rredient 19 = 0.86 tons,
ingredient 20 = 129.39 tons, ingredient 21 = 776.37 tons, ingredient 22 = 0.19
tons. Beside of the amount above, it also obtains the optimum amount of the
ingredient which has to be stored in each storehouse.
