Abstract

Kapal penumpang sebagai sarana antar jemput terjadwal bagi warga Marunda untuk menghindari kepadatan lalulintas darat menuju Muara Baru Jakarta, menempuh jarak 10.26 mil dengan mengangkut rata-rata 20 penumpang per hari. Namun dengan penggerak kapal yang masih menggunakan BBM, pengoperasian kapal hingga akhir 2016 sempat mengalami kendala, karena telatnya pasokan BBM menyebabkan kapal penumpang berhenti beroperasi. Tugas akhir ini bertujuan mendesain kapal penumpang dengan memanfaatkan energi matahari sebagai sumber energi untuk penggerak kapal agar mengurangi penggunaan kendaraan bermotor dan penggunaan BBM yang berlebihan. Metode yang di gunakan dalam mendesain kapal ini yaitu metode regresi linear. Ukuran utama kapal yang didapat adalah LOA = 9.71 m, B = 3.15 m, T = 0.56 m, H = 1.17 m, B1 = 1.06 m, Cb = 0.429, dan Vs = 11 knots dengan kapasitas jumlah penumpang 20 orang. Daya baterai sebesar 75 Kwh dan daya panel surya yang terpasang sebesar 3000 Wp.

Passenger boats as scheduled shuttle facilities for Marunda residents to avoid the traffic congestion to Muara Baru Jakarta, taking 10.26 miles by carrying an average of 20 passengers per day. However with the propulsion of ships that still use fuel oil, ship operations until the end of 2016 had experienced problems. The late fuel supply caused the ship to stop operating. This final project is aimed to design passenger ship by using solar energy as an energy source for propulsion to reduce excessive use of vehicles and fuel. The method used in designing this ship was trend curve approach. The main dimensions obtained was LOA = 9.71 m, B = 3.15 m, T = 0.56 m, H = 1.17 m, B1 = 1.06 m, Cb = 0.429, and Vs = 11 knots with total passenger capacity of 20 people. The battery power is 75 Kwh and the installed solar panel power is 3000 Wp.
