Abstract

In every work environment, satisfaction and commitment in work makes it
important to support organizational performance. However, in its implementation, there
are several obstacles because there are still many factors that are important or not in line
with expectations. In addition, there are non-civil servant government employees
abbreviated as PPNPN who are temporary employees. PPNPN has a specified work
period, so satisfaction and commitment to work requirements are considered so that the
achievement of the target organization is realized properly. So to find out the factors that
make optimal performance is still not reaching the target. So what are the most influential
factors and are expected to provide the right strategies to improve employee performance.
The number of samples is 150 respondents from 340 people. The independent variable is
job satisfaction and commitment while the dependent variable is employee performance.
Data analysis method uses CB-SEM (Covariance Based Structural Equation Modeling).
The results of this study indicate the relationship of job satisfaction and employee
commitment to performance. Job satisfaction and commitment from employees who have
the biggest influence on employee performance is significantly Promotion factor for work
variables, while for commitment variable is Organizational Commitment. Whereas seen
from the value of probability, Job Satisfaction and Commitment has a value of more than
20.8% (5% error, n = 150) which is 22.8% for Job Satisfaction and 37.5% for
Commitment. So that these variables affect performance.
