Abstract

Kegiatan survei dan inspeksi pada bangunan lepas pantai yang ada saat ini masih dilakukan secara manual dimana seorang inspektur melakukan pemeriksaan mengacu pada form inspeksi. Kegiatan survei dan inspeksi yang ada saat ini kurang efektif untuk dilakukan pada proses inspeksi dan perawatan bangunan lepas pantai, hal ini dikarenakan membutuhkan waktu untuk mencatat, merekam hingga membuat laporan hasil inspeksi secara independent. Tujuan dari tugas akhir ini adalah melakukan observasi terhadap sistem inspeksi bangunan lepas pantai yang diterapkan saat ini, merancang aplikasi berbasis Android untuk panduan inspeksi dan perawatan, dan melakukan uji validitas aplikasi tersebut dalam meningkatkan efektivitas survei dan inspeksi pada bangunan lepas pantai. Perancangan aplikasi dilakukan dengan pembuatan mock up aplikasi, desain interface, perancangan database, dan pengkodingan aplikasi tersebut. Aplikasi ini memiliki fitur list of contents yang berisi migas appointment letter, certificate of inspection, executive summary, minor inspection, major inspection, complete inspection, review hasil inspeksi dan menu untuk menambahkan platform. Uji coba aplikasi ini dilakukan ke beberapa responden yang memiliki pengalaman inspeksi dan perawatan bangunan lepas pantai dan pihak-pihak yang memiliki latar belakang pendidikan di bidang kelautan. Dari hasil pengujian menggunakan kuisioner tersebut diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa aplikasi ini perlu diterapkan dalam mendukung proses inspeksi dan perawatan bangunan lepas pantai.

Survey and inspection activities on existing offshore platforms are still done manually while an inspector checks on the inspection form. The current examining and checking activities are less effective to be done in the process of of survey and inspection of offshore platforms, since it is related to the need for time to examine, record and make the report on the results of the independent inspection. The ultimate goal was to observe the current offshore platform inspection system, design an Android-based application for inspection and maintenance guidelines, and test the validity of the application in improving the effectiveness of survey and inspection of offshore platforms. The application design is done by making an application mockup, interface design, database design, and coding of the application. This application has a table of contents feature that contains oil and gas designation letters, inspection certificates, executive summaries, minor inspections, major inspections, complete inspections, review of inspection results and menus to add platforms. The trial of this application was carried out on several respondents who had experience in the inspection and maintenance of offshore platforms and those who had an educational background in the field of maritime affairs. Based on the results of testing using this questionnaire, it can be concluded that the Android-based application needs to be applied in supporting the process of inspection and maintenance of offshore platforms.
