Abstract

motor 85 mm, diameter pulley poros 125 mm dihubungkan
oleh v-belt tipe A nomor 70 panjang = 1750 mm.

The process of making teak furniture products requires stages, ranging from teak wood cutting to wood beam sheets, wood surface sanding, wood fiber brushing on the surface, wood assembly into products and finally finishing with product coloring. Among these processes, the process of brushing wood fiber on the surface is one of the processes that require a relatively long time and needs to be increased productivity so that the weekly production target can be met.
The machine manufacturing process begins with observations and searches for literature on the engine elements needed to design teak fiber brushing machines with 1.8 kgf force requirements, then the concept of the machine and teak fiber brushing mower sketches and their planned size. After getting the picture and size, proceed with starting to make the tool. Experiments and testing of equipment are carried out after the machine is made. If the machine is still not working properly, an evaluation and planning will be carried out again.
From planning and calculation, the engine is needed
with a minimum power of 2.01 HP at 1330 rpm for
move the brush to drag that is transmitted by the belt
and pulley. Where pulley with 2 grooves, pulley diameter
85 mm motor, 125 mm shaft diameter pulley is connected
by v-belt type A number 70. The machine made has a brushing capacity of 23 cm / minute at a constant speed.
