Abstract

kondisi batas berdasarkan simulasi HEC-RAS. Dalam skenario, dipakai tiga konsep
utama yaitu peningkatan kapasitas alir saluran, mengubah pola aliran Bengawan Solo
m3/detik. ========== Bengawan Solo downstream area is a frequent flooding area which is due to
river overflowing in every rainy season. Solved this problem, the government built
Plangwot - Sedayu Lawas floodway. During time, a change in the morphology of the
Solo River cannot accommodate the big discharge.
The government plans to optimize floodway by increasing the capacity to 2500
m3/sec. So this study will make a flow model on branching river to get the best model.
The best model is model that can separate optimal flow to Plangwot-Sedayu Lawas.
The methodology used in this study is to simulate the flow with 2D numerical
modeling. Each model has to have geometric condition and boundary conditions based
on the HEC-RAS simulation. The scenarios use three main concepts. They are to
increase the flow capacity of the channel, to change the flow pattern of Bengawan Solo,
and to accelerate the water reached the sea. Based on the three concepts, there are seven
scenarios or models with discharge inflow 2500 m3/sec and 3500 m3/sec.
Based on the simulation results of existing model, flow discharge 433,34 m3/sec
enters the floodway. Flow distribution is appropriate to planning by widening the
floodway base into 150 meters. Flow discharge 2427,18 m3/sec enters Plangwot, while
the other 1075,20 m3/sec enters Bengawan Solo.
