Abstract

Saat ini, game bergenre Real-Time Strategy (RTS) dalam game MMORPG
adalah permainan yang paling banyak dimainkan. Pada umumnya kontrol antara
universe dari permainan RTS hanya menggunakan pengambilan keputusan dari
simple binary tree. Oleh karena itu dalam penelitian ini agen cerdas
dikembangkan untuk mengontrol perpindahan dari satu universe ke universe
lainnya (multi universe) dengan menggunakan aturan HFSM. Universe disini
terdapat pada game Dwipa Yudha, diantaranya adalah universe normal, universe
attack (dungeon lebah, player vs enemy, player vs player), dan universe koi.
Pertama, untuk mengendalikan perilaku agen di multi-universe menggunakan
kombinasi dari rule-rule tiap universe dan Finite State Machine. Selanjutnya dari
rule-rule tersebut menjadi acuan untuk perpindahan dari satu universe ke universe
lain menggunakan metode Hierarchical Finite State Machine.
Percobaan yang dilakukan membuktikan bahwa Metode HFSM yang
diusulkan dalam penelitian ini dapat memberikan hasil yang lebih baik dalam
kinerja sistem saat perpindahan antar universe dibandingkan dengan metode FSM.
Perpindahan universe menggunakan HFSM memperoleh waktu rata-rata sebesar
2.8326364 detik, sedangkan untuk FSM memperoleh waktu rata-rata sebesar
2.8371827 detik.

Nowadays, the RTS genre in a MMORPG fashioned games are the most
played game. Anyhow, the control between the universes of the RTS game only
employs simple binary tree decission. Therefore in this research an intelligent
agent is developed to control a multi universe switch using HFSM rules. Universe
here are implemented in the game Dwipa Yudha, there are normal universe, attack
universe (dungeon bees, player vs. enemy, player vs. player), and koi universe.
First, controlling agents behaviors in a multi-universe using a combination of
rules and Finite State Machine. At higher levels, the rules select complex
behaviors based on agents and environment states. At lower levels, complex
behaviors are implemented by Hierarchical Finite State Machines.
The experiment demonstrates that the proposed HFSM method provide a
better results in the achievement of multi universe switch than using FSM method.
Switching universe using HFSM successfully obtained an average time 2.8326364
s, while switching using FSM obtained an average time 2.8371827 s.
