Abstract

PLTU X merupakan pembangkit listrik tenaga uap dengan bahan bakar batu
bara. PLTU X sendiri menyuplai kebutuhan listrik di Jawa Timur. Agar tetap bisa
beroperasi dengan baik, mesin-mesin yang ada di PLTU X harus tetap dijaga
sehingga mampu memenuhi kebutuhan listrik. Kegiatan maintenance erat kaitannya
dengan ketersediaan barang MRO (maintenance, repair, operation) yang harus
terjaga dalam jumlah tertentu agar kegiatan maintenance bisa berjalan dengan baik.
Dengan adanya persediaan MRO, perusahaan juga perlu mengontrol jumlah barang
yang disimpan untuk mengurangi biaya-biaya yang akan ditimbulkan. Barang
persediaan yang berlebihan dapat mengakibatkan meningkatnya biaya penyimpanan
dan resiko kerusakan dari barang persediaan tersebut. Namun kekurangan atau tidak
tersedianya barang persediaan jika dibutuhkan akan menghambat proses produksi dan
bisa berakibat fatal bagi perusahaan. Di PLTU X, terdapat 281 jenis material
consumable yang tersedia di gudang sebagai persediaan MRO. Karena jenis
persediaan yang sangat banyak maka perlu dilakukan analisis critical item dari
persedian yang ada dengan menggunakan Ng Model. Peramalan juga dilakukan
dengan metode simulasi Monte Carlo, metode Croston, SBA, dan LSA. Dalam
penelitian ini digunakan model periodic review system (R,s,S) dan continuous system
(s,Q). Sedangkan, hasil peramalan akan dipilih dari jumlah error terkecil yang
digunakan untuk memperoleh kisaran jumlah pemesanan. Sehingga output yang akan
didapatkan dari penelitian ini adalah penentuan jumlah pemesanan, safety stock,
reorder point, serta total biaya persediaan. Dari hasil perhitungan terdapat 56 material
pada kelas A, 84 marterial pada kelas B, dan 141 material pada kelas C. Sedangkan
biaya yang bisa dihemat dengan menggunakan metode yang disarankan adalah
sebesar 43.3%. ========== PLTU X is a steam power plant with coal fuel. It is supplying electricity
demand in East Java. That can still operate properly, the machines must be
maintained so as to meet the electricity needs. Maintenance activities closely related
to the availability of goods MRO (maintenance, repair, operation) that must be
maintained in a certain amount so that maintenance activities can be run well. MRO
inventory makes the company should control the amount of goods stored, thereby
reducing the costs that would be incurred. Excessive inventory items can result in
increased storage costs and the risk of damage to the supply of goods. However, a
shortage or unavailability of supplies if needed will hamper the production process
and can be fatal for the company. There are 281 types of consumable material
available in the warehouse as MRO inventory. Because this type of inventory is very
large, critical analysis is needed of the supply of existing items using Model Ng.
Forecasting also performed with Monte Carlo simulation method, method of Croston,
SBA, and LSA. This study used a model periodic review system (R, s, S) and
continuous system (s, Q). Meanwhile, forecasting results will be chosen from the
smallest amount of error that is used to obtain the range of the number of bookings.
So that the output will be obtained from this study is the determination of the number
of reservations, safety stock, reorder point, and the total cost of inventory. The results
of the calculation are 56 material in class A, class B marterial 84, and 141 material at
