Abstract

Salah satu jenis Metal Organik Framework (MOF) yaitu
HKUST-1 dengan rumus molekul [Cu3(BTC)2(H2O)3].3H2O
telah berhasil disintesis dengan menggunakan metode solvotermal
pada suhu 100 oC selama 10 jam. Prekusor yang digunakan
meliputi tembaga nitrat dan asam 1,3,5-benzena trikarboksilat
(H3BTC) dalam pelarut etanol:DMF:air serta penambahan
polietilen glikol (PEG). Padatan yang diperoleh berupa serbuk
berwarna biru dan dikarakterisasi menggunakan XRD, FTIR,
SEM-EDX, TGA serta adsopsi-desorpsi nitrogen. Hasil
karakterisasi dengan XRD menunjukkan bahwa penambahan
PEG sebagai pelarut dapat menghasilkan HKUST-1 dengan
kristalinitas yang tinggi. Pada penambahan 6 ml PEG dari 51 ml
total volume pelarut diperoleh massa yang paling besar yaitu
2,5753 gram. Penambahan PEG dapat mempengaruhi struktur
kristal, semakin banyak PEG yang ditambahkan menyebabkan
ukuran kristal menjadi lebih kecil. Stabilitas termal HKUST-1
yang diperoleh sebesar 377 oC. Hasil analisis adsorpsi-desorbsi
nitrogen menunjukkan bahwa luas permukaan HKUST-1 murni
sebesar 1149,225 m2/g, HKUST-1 dengan PEG 6 ml sebesar
871,399 m2/g dan HKUST-1 dengan PEG 9 ml sebesar 733,197
m2/g.

Metal Organic Framework typed HKUST-1 with
molecular formula has been synthesized by using Solvothermal at
a temperature 100 oC for 10 hours. Siynthesis is performed using
copper nitrate and trimesic acid as precursor with
ethanol:DMF:aquades and polyethilene glycol (PEG) as a solvent.
The blue powder of HKUST-1 is obtained. The HKUST-1 were
characterized with XRD, FTIR, SEM-EDX, TGA, and
adsorption-desorption nitrogen measurements. The
characterization results obtained showed that the addition of PEG
as a solvent may produce HKUST-1 with high cristallinity. On
the addition of 6 ml PEG from 51 ml total volume of solvent
obtained the greatest mass is 2,5753 gram. The stability thermal
of HKUST-1 is 377 oC. PEG can influence the crystal structure,
the more PEG is added lead crystal size becomes smaller. The
result of adsorption-desorbtion nitrogen analysis showed that the
surface area of pure HKUST-1 is 1149,225 m2/g, HKUST-1 with
PEG 6 ml is 871,399 m2/g and HKUST-1 with PEG 9 ml is
733,197 m2/g.
