Abstract

Kondisi lingkungan yang semakin memburuk menyadarkan banyak pihak
mengenai isu lingkungan. Di Indonesia sendiri sudah dilakukan pengembangan
bisnis pada daerah berpotensi dengan mempertimbangkan konsep Green Industry.
Salah satunya yaitu di Kecamatan Ngancar, Kabupaten Kediri yang mana memiliki
potensi produk unggulan nanas. Salah satu UKM yang mengembangkan bisnis
adalah UKM Murni Mandiri, yang mana memproduksi sari buah nanas. Proses
produksi sari buah nanas tentunya menghasilkan limbah. Untuk mendukung konsep
green industry. UKM perlu memperhatikan bagaimana proses produksi yang
dilakukan memiliki dampak terhadap lingkungan. Namun, sampai saat ini UKM
belum mengetahui bagaimana dampak yang ditimbulkan dari proses produksi yang
dilakukan. Untuk mengetahui dampak yang ditimbulkan, digunakan metode Life
Cycle Assessment (LCA). LCA digunakan untuk menilai siklus hidup dari suatu
produk atau proses dengan melakukan input data material, energi, emisi, hingga
output yang dihasilkan. Nantinya hasil LCA akan dibandingkan dengan skenario
yang memungkinkan menjadi alternatif. Proses LCA dibantu menggunakan
software SimaPro dengan pengolahan data menggunakan metode Eco-Indicator 99.
Dari hasil pengolahan data, didapatkan besar single score total sebesar 1,14 Pt
dengan pembagian damage category antara lain yaitu pada human health sebesar
0,222 Pt (20%), ecosystem quality sebesar 0,278 (24%), dan resources sebesar
0,636 Pt (56%). Berdasarkan hasil perbandingan tiga macam perbaikan kondisi
produksi, didapatkan rekomendasi perbaikan untuk mengurangi dampak
lingkungan yaitu pada skenario penggunaan biogas dan peningkatan kapasitas
produksi dengan nilai single score 1,7131 dan memiliki nilai single score terendah
dibandingkan dengan kedua skenario lainnya.

Worsened environmental conditions causing many people become more
aware about environmental issue. In Indonesia itself has been done in the area of
business development potential by considering Green Industry concept. One of
them is in District Ngancar, Kediri, which has the potential for superior product
pineapple. One SMEs develop business are SMEs Murni Mandiri, which produces
pineapple juice. Pineapple fruit juice production process would produce waste. To
support the concept of green Industry, SMEs need to consider how the production
process has an impact on the environment. However, until now SMBs do not yet
know how the impact of the production process. To determine the impact, we use
Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) method. LCA is used to assess the life cycle of a
product or process by doing data input materials, energy, emissions, and the output
that is produced. Later the LCA results will be compared with the scenario that
allows to be accepted as an alternative. The process of using the software SimaPro
LCA assisted with data processing using the Eco-Indicator 99. From the data
processing, obtained total singlet score of 1.14 Pt with the distribution of damage
category, among others, on human health amounted to 0.222 Pt (20%), 0.278 (24%)
on ecosystem quality , and 0.636 Pt (56%) amounted to resources. Based on the
comparison of the three conditions of production, we Obtained improvement
recommendations to reduce the environmental impacts si the biogas usage and
increased production capacity skenario with a single score value of 1.7131. This
scenario has the lowest single value compared with the other scenarios.
