Abstract

Fosfor (P) merupakan unsur hara makro yang sangat penting untuk pertumbuhan dan perkembangan tanaman. Kandungan fosfor di dalam tanah sangat rendah dan terikat oleh koloid tanah. Hal ini menyebabkan P tidak dapat diserap oleh tanaman sehingga perlu dilakukan pemupukan menggunakan pupuk hayati. Pembuatan pupuk hayati memerlukan media pembawa untuk meningkatkan viabilitas bakteri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kombinasi media pembawa bakteri pelarut fosfat terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman kacang tanah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian meliputi peremajaan isolat Bacillus sp, pembuatan pupuk hayati bakteri pelarut fosfat, perhitungan TPC (Total Plate Count), penanaman kacang tanah ,dan pengukuran parameter pertumbuhan. Data hasil perlakuan dianalisa menggunakan ANOVA, apabila terdapat pengaruh maka dilanjutkan uji Duncan dengan taraf kepercayaan 95%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perlakuan komposisi media pembawa pupuk hayati tidak berpengaruh terhadap parameter pertumbuhan tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, luas daun, panjang akar, diameter batang, berat basah dan kering tanaman, kecuali parameter jumlah bunga. Perlakuan B2 (pupuk kandang, tanah, dan pasir) memiliki nilai rata-rata tertinggi dan perlakuan B7 (kontrol) memiliki nilai rata-rata terendah pada setiap
parameter.

Phosphorus (P) is an essential macronutrients for plant growth and development. The content of phosphorus in the soil is very low and it is bound by soil colloids. Which made phosphorus can not be absorbed by crops. Biological fertilizer production requires carrier media to improve the viability of the bacteria. This study aimed to determine the combination of phosphate solubizing bacteria carrier on plant growth of Arachis hypogea. The method used in the study were the cultivation of Bacillus sp, production of biofertilizer to phosphate solubizing bacteria, the calculation of TPC (Total Plate Count), cultivation of Arachis hypogea, and measurement of plant growth parameters. Then, data analyzed using ANOVA, if there was a significant difference then continued to Duncan test at 95% significance level. The result of this research shows no significance influence to growth parameter of crops length, leaves’ number, leaves’ width, root’s length, stem’s diameters, net weight, and dry weight. Therefore, number of flower shows significance influence. In B2 produce highest average number and B7 produce lowest average number in each parameter.
