Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi telekomunikasi seluler dan trend pengguna internet yang semakin tinggi memaksa operator telekomunikasi untuk terus melakukan inovasi dalam layanan seluler agar tetap menjadi yang terbaik pada bidangnya. Teknologi 4G yang masih dalam tahap berkembang di Indonesia menuntut penyedia jaringan, dalam hal ini operator, terus melakukan perbaikan baik dari sisi kualitas resource jaringan 4G. Optimasi jaringan 4G diperlukan untuk meningkatkan kualitas layanan yang dalam hal ini diwakilkan dalam bentuk Key Performance Indicator (KPI). Operator memiliki target dalam menjaga KPI jaringan 4G miliknya yang diintepretasikan dalam bentuk baseline atau standard minimal. Optimasi yang dilakukan operator memiliki dasar atas 2 hal yaitu performansi KPI yang sudah melampaui atau tidak sesuai baseline, dan komplain langsung dari pelanggan. Analisa optimasi diperlukan agar optimasi yang dilaksanakan bisa diimplementasikan ke sistem secara tepat dan memberikan pengaruh yang nyata terhadap pelanggan. Optimasi jaringan 4G didasarkan atas beberapa hal yaitu airinterface, transmisi, dan hardware. Setiap elemen memiliki pengaruh terhadap jaringan 4G baik secara independen maupun secara dependen. Optimasi reroute jaringan yang mengalami bottleneck dari sisi transmisi belum berhasil meningkatkan performansi speedtest throughput dan hanya sedikit meningkatkan KPI eNodeB pada sisi kualitas.

The development of mobile telecommunications technology and the trend of Internet users increasingly high forcing telecom operators to continue to innovate in the mobile services in order to remain the best in the field. 4G technology is still being developed in Indonesia requires a network provider, in this case the operator, continues to make improvements both in quality 4G network resources. 4G network optimization is required to improve the quality of service which in this case is represented in the form of Key Performance Indicator (KPI). The operator has to maintain KPI targets in its 4G network which is interpreted in the form of a baseline or minimum standard. Optimization is done carriers have a base on 2 things: KPI performance that has exceeded or is not appropriate baseline, and complaints directly from customers. Analysis of optimization is required so that optimization can be implemented properly implemented into the system and provide a real impact on the customer. 4G network optimization based on several things: the airinterface, transmission, and hardware. Each element has an influence on the 4G network either independently or dependently. Optimization of reroute transmission route has not managed to increase throughput but slightly increased KPI performance of the eNodeB.
