Abstract

Pada kenyataannya sering terjadi getaran yang berlebih pada sistem penggerak drivetrain dan dapat menyebabkan komponennya cepat rusak. Hal tersebut diatas dapat diredam dengan menggunakan Torsional Vibration Absorber yang merupakan massa tambahan yang dapat menjaga kondisi komponen yang berputar lebih stabil. Dalam tugas akhir ini dilakukan pemodelan dan analisis pengaruh perubahan momen inersia, koefisien redam torsional dan frekuensi sistem Torsional Vibration Absorber terhadap torsi redam dan respon dinamis terhadap sistem penggerak drivetrain dengan variasi konstanta pegas torsional, torsi engine dan beban pada truk. Tahap awal penelitian ini dilakukan pemodelan dan simulasi sistem Torsional Vibration Absorber dengan input sinusoidal dan bump modified dengan frekuensi 2 dan 8 Hz dengan variasi konstanta pegas torsional sebesar 1400 – 3000 N.m/rad dan koefisien redam torsional sebesar 15 – 45 N.m.s/rad. Penelitian selanjutnya dilakukan penambahan sistem Torsional Vibration Absorber pada sistem penggerak drivetrain dengan input periodic variasi torsi engine sebesar 150 - 250 Nm dan bump modified variasi 240 – 400 kg.m2 .

In fact excessive vibration in the drivetrain propulsion systems often happen and can cause rapid destruction of components. That excessive vibration can be damped by using Torsional Vibration Absorber that is an additional mass which can maintain the condition of rotating parts is more stable. In this final project will be modeling and analysis of the effect of changes in torsional damping coefficient, torsional spring constant and frequency of Torsional Vibration Absorber system toward torsion damping and dynamic response of the drivetrain with a variety of engine torque and load on the truck. The initial stage of this research, modeling and simulation system Torsional Vibration Absorber with sinusoidal input and bump modified with a frequency of 2 and 8 Hz with a torsional spring constant variation of 1400-3000 N.m / rad and torsional damping coefficient of 15-45 N.m.s / rad. Subsequent research conducted Extra Torsional Vibration Absorber system on drivetrain drive system with periodic input engine torque variation of 150-250 Nm and bump modified variation of 240-400 kg.m2 .
