Abstract

Penggunaan angkutan peti kemas sebagai sarana alat angkut untuk memenuhi permintaan
antarwilayah telah banyak berkembang baik domestik maupun internasional.
Ketidakseimbangan pasar di tiap daerah (pelabuhan) menjadi permasalahan bagi penyedia
layanan angkutan peti kemas, hal ini dikarenakan masing-masing daerah memiliki permintaan
dan penawaran yang berbeda. Maka dari itu perlu adanya perencanaan rute yang baik serta
pemilihan kapasitas kapal dengan tepat agar memberikan biaya minumum.
Analisis model perencanaan transportasi angkutan peti kemas dengan menggunakan motode
optimasi. Sehingga didapatkan hasil berupa rute terpilih yang memberikan biaya total minimum
(minimum total cost).
Dari hasil penelitian ini, didapatkan 3 rute multiport yang memberikan biaya total minimum
adalah Makassar – Surabaya – Gorontalo – Makassar, Makassar – Luwuk – Ternate – Luwuk
– Makassar, dan Surabaya – Luwuk – Ternate – Gorontalo – Ternate – Luwuk – Surabaya
dengan total cost dari tiga rute tersebut adalah 222 Miliar Rupiah.

The use of container transport as a means of transport to meet demand between regions have
developed in domestic and international shipping. Imbalance market in each area (port) become
a problem for the shipping company, because each region has a different demand and supply.
Thus, the need to better route planning and ship capacity to provide minimum unit cost.
In this research, transportation planning model analysis of container transport using
optimization method. The results obtained route that provide minimum unit cost.
The final results of the research is obtained 3 multiport routes that provides minimum total cost
is Makassar–Surabaya–Gorontalo–Makassar, Makassar–Luwuk–Ternate–Luwuk–Makassar,
and Surabaya–Luwuk–Ternate–Gorontalo–Ternate–Luwuk–Surabaya which total cost 222
Bilion Rupiah.
