Abstract

Jumlah nickel sulfida yang mendominasi produksi saat ini terus menurun jumlahnya membuat nikel laterit yang memiliki kadar Ni yang rendah harus lebih dimaksimalkan pengolahannya, maka untuk memaksimalkannya dilakukan metode berupa reduksi selektif dengan penambahan fluks. Review ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana senyawa flux dapat memberikan pengaruh terhadap pertambahan kadar,recovery dan juga faktor selektivitas dari produk ferronickel. Terdapat 6 jurnal dengan 3 jenis fluks yaitu dolomite, Quicklime dan juga limestone. Dan 3 Jurnal yang direview menggunakan tambahan selective agent berupa Na2SO4 review ini. akan membahas variasi berupa perbandingan massa batu bara-fluks, perbedaan waktu holding,jumlah penambahan flux dan juga variasi fluks. Metode yang digunakan secara umum adalah dengan metode reduksi langsung dengan furnace yang dilanjutkan dengan separasi magnetis pada produk dan pengujian karakterisasi sample produk dengan alat EDX. Lalu didapatkan bahwa untuk mendapatkan jumlah nikel terbaik pada sample, fluks limestone dan dolomit dengan penambahan Na2SO4 dengan kadar dan Ni sebesar 22.93% dan faktor selektivitas terbaik didapat dengan menggunakan fluks limestone dengan nilai 20.36. secara umum jumlah fluks dapat meningkatkan recovery, kadar Ni dan Fe , dan selektivitas, penggunaan dengan jumlah yang tidak tepat dapat mengurangi kadar logam dalam produk

The amount of nickel sulphide produced by the current production continues to increase resulting in nickel laterite which has a low Ni content must be maximized by processing, so to maximize it, selective reduction method using flux is used. This review is intended to see how the flux composition can contribute to increased content, recovery, and the selectivity factor of ferronickel products. There are 6 journals with 3 types of flux namely dolomite, Quicklime, and limestone. And 3 journals reviewed using additional selective agents such as Na2SO4. This review will discuss variations related to flux rock mass, differences in holding time, amount of flux addition and flux variation. The method used in general is the direct reduction method with a furnace continued with a magnetic separation on the product and testing product samples with EDX tools to get the metal grade. Then it was obtained to get the best amount of samples, limestone and dolomite flux with the addition of Na2SO4 with levels and Ni of 22.93% and the best selectivity factor was obtained using limestone flux with a value of 20.36. Although the general amount of flux can increase recovery, levels of Ni and Fe, and selectivity, the use of an incorrect amount can reduce the levels of metals in the product
