Abstract

Continous Ship Unloader (CSU) memiliki kapasitas bongkar/muat mencapai 1000 ton per jam. Besarnya kapasitas tersebut menjadikan CSU sebagai tulang punggung kegiatan bongkar/muat. Namun dengan tingginya utilitas CSU angka kerusakan turut mengalami kenaikan, bahkan sering kali CSU mengalami breakdown. Reliablility Centered Maintenance menawarkan solusi untuk mengurangi kerusakan dengan memilih tindakan perawatan untuk menyikapi potensi kegagalan yang mungkin dialami oleh CSU. Penelitian diawali dengan analisis kuantitatif untuk menentukan interval perawatan. Input yang digunakan pada analisis kuantitatif adalah data Time Between Failure (TBF) dari setiap screw conveyor. Kemudian dilanjutkan dengan analisis kualitatif menggunakan metode Failue Mode & Effect Analysis (FMEA) untuk mengetahui potential failure mode dan potential failure effect dari masing masing komponen yang ada pada screw conveyor. Input yang digunakan untuk melakukan analils kualitatif adalah data komponen yang berasal dari data perusahaan dan katalog mesin yang telah disesuaikan dengan OREDA 2002. Setelah proses analisis kualitatif dilakukan penyusunan RCM II Decison Worksheet untuk menentukan tindakan perawatan pada setiap potential failure mode dan potential failure effect yang ada. Metode yang digunakan dalam penyusunan RCM II Decision Worksheet adalah Logic Tree Analysis (LTA) dengan acuan RCM II Decision Diagram (Moubray, 2000).

Continuous Ship Unloader (Continuous Ship Unloader CSU) has a loading / unloading capacity of up to 1000 tons per hour. The large capacity makes CSU the tulang punggung of loading / unloading activities. But with the high utility of CSU the number of damage has also increased, often even CSU has experienced a breakdown. Reliability Centered Maintenance offers a solution to reduce damage by choosing maintenance actions to address potential failures thatmay experience CSU. The study began with quantitative analysis to determine treatment intervals. The input used in quantitative analysis is thedata Time Between Failure (TBF) from each screw conveyor. Then proceed with a qualitative analysis using themethod Failue Mode & Effect Analysis (FMEA) to determine the potential failure mode and the potential failure effect of each component in the screw conveyor. The input used to carry out qualitative analysis is component data derived from company data and machine catalogs that have been adjusted to OREDA 2002. After a qualitative analysis carried out the preparation process RCM II decison Worksheet to determine the maintenance action on each potential failure mode and effect potential any failure. The method used in the preparation of the RCM II Decision Worksheet is Logic Tree Analysis (LTA) with reference to the RCM II Decision Diagram (Moubray, 2000).
