Abstract

Indonesia merupakan Negara Kepulauan terbesar di Dunia. Dengan kondisi geografis-nya, menyebabkan terdapat banyak pulau yang terpisahakan oleh lautan di Indonesia. Salah satu kebutuhan utama sebagai Negara Kepulauan adalah sarana penyeberangan. KMP (Kapal Motor Penyeberangan) jenis Ro-Ro. Sehubungan dengan beroperasinya Jembatan Suramadu, redupnya KMP kian terasa, maka perlu dilakukan pemberdayaan KMP pada daerah tersebut agar keberadaannya terus terjaga, perlu diciptakan fungsi baru dari KMP yang dapat meningkatkan minat dan daya tarik masyarakat, sebagai sarana wisata di area Selat Madura, dalam hal ini dengan kemajuan teknologi serta perkembangan industri 4.0, kapal diciptakan dengan sistem autonomous. Kapal didesain menggunakan System Based Ship Design (SBSD) dengan tahapan pengerjaan mission, function, form, performance, dan economic. Kapal ini menggunakan sistem autonomous dimana konsep ini didasarkan pada tugas dan tanggung jawab seorang personel di pusat kendali jarak jauh diluar kapal yang bertanggung jawab atas pengawasan teknis dan diasumsikan bahwa kru tersedia di kapal untuk melakukan tugas-tugas tertentu dan membantu personel jarak jauh sesuai kebutuhan dan sudah mengacu dengan ketentuan kapal autonomous yang telah dikeluarkan oleh Lloyd’s Register (2016), AAWA (2016), DNV-GL (2018), dan Maritime UK (2018). Pekerjaan tugas akhir ini mengikuti metodologi SBSD dan menghasilkan desain akhir dengan ukuran Lpp = 30,43 m, B = 9 m, H = 2,4 m, dan T = 1,8 m. Hasil dari desain didapatkan hambatan kapal sebesar 61,5 kN, lalu dilakukan pengecekan stabilitas dengan kriteria IMO Intact Stability, dan dilakukan perhitungan biaya pembangunan dengan total biaya pembangunan kapal sebesar Rp. 7.146.181.374 Dari biaya pembangunan tersebut dihitung NPV sebesar 2.755.700.000, IRR sebesar 31.39%, dan didapatkan payback period selama 5 tahun 8 bulan 30 hari.

Indonesia is the largest Archipelagic State in the World. Reminding it's geographical nature, the islands are separated by seas within Indonesia. One of the most needed infrastructures for an Archipelagic State would be crossing vehicles. KMP (Kapal Motor Penyeberangan or Crossing Vessel Vehicle) with a Ro-Ro model is well recognised by some of the communities, in Surabaya-Madura route. With the operations of Suramadu bridge, the enthusiasm for KMP has been slowly dimming. In this regard we need to preserve the KMP for the region, by incorporating and inventing new functions for KMP which could spark the interest of the community for tourism purposes in Madura Channel. This would be the way to respond the 4th Industrial Revolution by creating an Autonomous System for the Vessel. The vessel was designed using the System-Based Ship Design (SBSD) following the mission, function, form, performance and economic working method. The concept is based on the responsibility of the crew by remotely operating them under technical supervision, assuming crews on board would be assisting for specific tasks and referring to the Autonomous Vessel Regulations, laid out by Lloyd's Register (2016), AAWA (2016), DNV-GL (2018), and Maritime UK (2018). This final project is using the System-Based Ship Design (SBSD) methodology and produced the final design with reports of the size LPP= 30.43, B = 9 m, H = 2.4 m, and T= 1.8m. The design result has found that the vessel has resistance of 61,5 kN, and checked for stability in accordance with the IMO Intact Stability criteria, furthermore calculated for construction cost estimated around Rp. 7.146.181.374. The NPV calculated based on the construction cost was worth 2.755.700.000, with an IRR of 31.39%, resulting in payback period of 5 years 8 months 30 days.
