Abstract

Orientasi gitaris di Indonesia beragam, mulai dari genre musik, tempat tampil, hingga kebutuhan gitaris tersebut. Gitaris kerap menyinggung beberapa variable, yaitu; kenyamanan saat memainkan gitar, kenyamanan mobilitas, material, dan bentuk gitar. Selain itu, loncatan teknologi drastis pada gitar yang tidak krusial berbanding terbalik dengan urgensi para gitaris. Kebutuhan para gitaris dapat dipenuhi oleh pengembangan desain yang mempermudah cara membawa gitar, karakter desain gitar yang cocok dengan target konsumen, sistem visual pengenalan gitar saat cahaya redup, dan juga teknologi subtitusi lokal / TKDN yang lebih terjangkau dengan memperdayakan UKM lokal dan tingkat kebutuhan dalam negeri. Tujuan dari rancangan ini adalah memberikan inovasi pada produk gitar dan melakukan pengembangan teknologi graphtech dan sistem modular yang dibuat oleh produsen lokal serta mengedepankan ciri khas Indonesia. Metode desain diawali dengan observasi, wawancara data primer, story telling, dan analisa trend serta analisa pasar yang menerima teknologi baru dari UKM lokal gitar. Hasil perancangan ini berupa gitar elektrik akustik dengan sistem modular; menggunakan siluet transformasi fauna eksotis Indonesia; menggunakan visualisasi pengenalan pada body gitar dengan bubuk fosfor yang ditanam pada body gitar, dan juga produk gitar dengan menggunakan teknologi graphtech yang memperdayakan UKM lokal dan tingkat kebutuhan dalam negeri. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi suatu peluang dan produk inovatif di bidang appliance khususnya di bidang musik.

Guitarist orientation in Indonesia varies, ranging from music genres, venues, to the guitarist's needs. Guitarists often allude to several variables, namely; comfort when playing the guitar, comfort mobility, material, and shape of the guitar. In addition, the dramatic technological leap in the guitar that is not crucial is inversely proportional to the urgency of the guitarists. The needs of guitarists can be met by the development of designs that make it easier to bring the guitar, the character of the guitar design that fits the target consumer, the visual system of guitar recognition in low light, and also local / TKDN technology that is more affordable by empowering local SMEs and the level of domestic needs . The purpose of this design is to provide innovation in guitar products and to develop graphtech technology made by local producers. The design method begins with observation, primary data interviews, story telling, and trend analysis as well as market analysis that receives new technology from local guitar SMEs. The results of this design in the form of an acoustic electric guitar with a modular system; use the silhouette of the transformation of Indonesia's exotic fauna; using visualization of introduction to the guitar body with phosphorus powder planted on the guitar body, and also guitar products using graphtech technology that empowers local SMEs and the level of domestic demand. The results of this study are expected to be an opportunity and innovative products in the field of appliance, especially in the field of music.
