Abstract

Bandung Regency is an area that is prone to flooding. Floods occur as a result of standing water at a certain time. One way to manage the risk of flooding is to estimate the areas that are prone to flooding. There are several parameters that affect the level of vulnerability of an area to flooding, including parameters of rainfall, land use, slope, land height, and soil texture. These parameters are processed by weighting and scoring methods, then overlaid to produce a flood prone map.
From the processing results, it is found that the rainfall parameter is dominated by rainfall of 1,500-2,000 mm / year with an area of 93,523.655 ha. The land use parameter is dominated by dry land agriculture with an area of 38,066,286 ha. The slope parameter is dominated by a slope of 25 - 40% with an area of 38490.715 ha. The land height parameter is dominated by the land height of 500 - 1000 m with an area of 68,030,334 ha. Soil texture parameters are dominated by medium soil texture with an area of 77,918,599 ha.
There are 4 classes of flood vulnerability including very prone, prone, less prone, and not prone. Bandung Regency is dominated by the Less Prone class with an area of 64,277,228 ha. Areas belonging to the Very Prone class are in Katapang District, Margahayu, Dayeuh Kolot, Pameungpeuk, Bojong Soang, Margaasih, Rancaekek, Baleendah, Solokan Jeruk, Cangkuang, Kutawaringin, Soreang, Cicalengka, Banjaran, Cileunyi, Cikancung, Ciparay, Majalaya, Paseh, Arjasari, Cimaung, Rancabali, Pasir Jambu, Ciwidey, Ibun, and Nagreg.
The area that has the largest percentage of flood-prone area per district is in Katapang District with a percentage of 95.06%, while the lowest percentage of areas that are very prone to flooding per district is in Nagreg District with a percentage of 0.01%.
The validation results show that all sub-districts mentioned in the Flood Disaster Emergency Preparedness Map are areas classified as Very Prone class on the Flood Prone Map.
