Abstract

Material is a major component in infrastructure development. The smooth running of infrastructure development is determined by the availability of infrastructure materials. Excessive inventory of infrastructure materials will cause large inventory costs. Therefore, an efficient infrastructure material inventory control policy at PT Roberto Pratama Karya is needed in order to save on inventory costs. In taking the variant of infrastructure material which is the focus in this study, it is determined by two classifications. The classifications used are ABC and SDE (Scarce, Difficult, Easy) classifications. ABC Classification can identify which materials are of great value to the company and SDE Classification can identify materials that have a long lead time. After getting the material that is the focus, it is followed by the calculation of Continuous Review model (s,S) to be able to calculate the repair inventory control policy. Furthermore, a monte carlo simulation is performed and the inventory cost calculation is carried out in the existing and repair conditions. The inventory cost results of the two conditions are compared. From the simulation results, the existing conditions resulted in an inventory cost of Rp 7,127,447,660.76 and in the repair condition it resulted in an inventory cost of Rp 5,362,223,861.03. From these results, the repair conditions provided savings to the company of Rp 1,765,223,799.73
