Abstract

CV WANA INDO RAYA merupakan pabrik yang bergerak dalam bidang kayu sengon yang
terletak di kota Lumajang, Jawa Timur. Olahan kayu sengon akan dijadikan produk Bare
Core (Lumber Core), BlockBoard, dan PlyWood (Falcata albizzia albasia sengon Indonesia).
Boiler pada pabrik ini menggunakan steam boiler yang bertujuan untuk memanaskan atau
menjaga suhu pada ruang chamber (ruangan yang berisi kayu sengon. Untuk meningkatkan
produktifitas dan efisien dalam bekerja, Pabrik CV WANA INDO RAYA menambahkan
PLC yang bertujuan untuk memonitoring dan kontrol sistem level air boiler dengan
memasangkan sensor tingkat liquid pada pipa kaca (level gauge) yang merupakan indicator
level air yang ada di dalam boiler dan juga monitoring level air boiler menggunakan website
yang sebelumnya hanya dilakukan secara manual. Untuk Komunikasi dari PLC menuju
website dilakukan secara realtime menggunakan real-time database yang kemudian
disimpan di database MySQL. Berdasarkan uji coba pada plant, dapat diketahui bahwa
boiler melakukan pengisian selama 10 – 15 menit dan waktu yang diperlukan pompa untuk
mengisi air dari kondisi ALARM menuju kondisi HIGH membutuhkan waktu 3
menit.Pengiriman data dari realtime database firebase menuju web membutuhkan waktu
1100 ms dan waktu pengecekan koneksi dari mikrokontroller ke internet dalam interval 5000
ms. Delay transmisi data plant dengan server internet memiliki nilai rata-rata sebesar 56,208
ms, berdasarkan pada standar ITU-T.G 114 maka performa transmisi data termasuk dalam
kategori sangat bagus untuk nilai delay komunikasi antara plant dan server internet kurang
dari 150 ms.

CV WANA INDO RAYA is a factory engaged in sengon wood, located in the city of
Lumajang, East Java. Processed sengon wood will be made into Bare Core (Lumber Core),
BlockBoard, and PlyWood (Falcata albizzia albasia sengon Indonesia) products. The boiler
in this factory uses a steam boiler which aims to heat or maintain the temperature in the
chamber (a room containing sengon wood. To increase productivity and work efficiency,
CV WANA INDO RAYA Factory added a PLC which aimsto monitor and control the boiler
water level system with Installing the liquid level sensor on the glass pipe (level gauge)
which is an indicator of the water level in the boiler and also monitoring the boiler water
level using a website that was previously only done manually. For communication from PLC
to the website is done in real time using a real-time database which is then stored in the
MySQL database. Based on tests on the plant, it can be seen that the boiler is filling for 10 -
15 minutes and the time it takes for the pump to fill water from ALARM to HIGH conditions
takes 3 minutes. Sending data from the firebase realtime database to web takes 1100ms and
time to check the connection from the microcontroller to the internet in 5000 ms intervals.
The data transmission delay between the plant and the internet server has an average value
of 56.208 ms, based on the ITU-T.G 114 standard, the data transmission performance is in
the very good category for the communication delay value between the plant and the internet
server is less than 150 ms.
