Abstract

The three-phase induction motor is one of the most widely used electrical machines in the industrial world. Three-phase induction motors are considered very important in the industrial world, so induction motors are required to work properly and safely. One of the problems in the electric power system is unbalance disturbance. Unbalance occurs due to disturbances, changes in load, and changes in system conditions. This of course will have the effect of a 3-phase induction motor not working optimally and not under normal motor conditions.
From these problems, a system is made that is able to protect and warn 3-phase induction motors against current and voltage imbalance disturbances based on the ANSI standard of ±3% using the Fuzzy Logic method and the android application display.
Based on the results of tests carried out on a 3-phase induction motor, the protection and warning system using the Fuzzy logic method can work well. However, there is an error of 1.21% from the comparison of the output of the MATLAB simulation results and the realization of the system. For monitoring and warning systems in the application there is still a delay of 2-4 seconds and for the way the whole system works, it is in accordance with the specified function.
