Abstract

Sebuah perusahaan X yang berdomisi di kawasan industri SIER, Rungkut, Surabaya memproduksi berbagai produk pembersih badan. Perusahaan yang memproduksi berbagai macam varian sabun, variannya berwarna merah, biru, kuning. Sabun-sabun tersebut dikemas menggukan box karton. Ketika sampai di gudang penyimpanan, semua box produk sabun tersebut akan disortir untuk dikelompokkan berdasarkan jenis dan warna sabun. Dalam sistem sortir di dunia industri khususnya di Perusahaan X sekarang ini masih memiliki beberapa kekurangan, yaitu dalam hal memilah(sortir) produk masih menggunakan tenaga manusia dan yang kedua dalam hal pencatatan hasil sortir masih menggunakan pencatatan manual menggunakan tenaga manusia.
Berdasarkan hal tersebut, pada penelitian ini dibuat suatu mesin sortir otomatis berdasarkan barcode id pada produk. Cara kerja sistem ini yaitu memilah-milah barang berdasarkan varian produk dengan memanfaatkan barcode id yang telah ada pada tiap varian produk. Mesin ini juga dapat mencatat hasil sortir yang diupload menuju database. Data yang sudah tampil di LCD langsung disimpan ke database oleh user menggunakan MySQL.
Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sistem sortir otomatis yang berdasarkan barcode id dengan proses matching data 1,25 detik per box dan akurasi sebesar 85%. Sehingga memudahkan industri pada proses kerja dalam hal penyortiran. Hasil sortir tersebut dicatat dan disimpan menuju database. Dalam hal ini, memudahkan industri untuk menganalisis data hasil sortir yang tersimpan di database.

A company X domiciled in the SIER industrial area, Rungkut, Surabaya produces various body cleansing products. A company that produces various soap variants, the variants are red, blue, yellow. The soaps are packaged using cardboard boxes. When they arrive at the warehouse, all boxes of soap products will be sorted to be grouped by type and color of soap. In the sorting system in the industrial world, especially in Company X, currently it still has several shortcomings, namely in terms of sorting (sorting) products still using human labor and secondly in terms of recording the sorting results still using manual recording using human power.
Based on this, in this study an automatic sorting machine was made based on the barcode id on the product. The way this system works is sorting goods based on product variants by utilizing the barcode id that already exists in each product variant. This machine can also record the sorting results that are uploaded to the database. The data that has been displayed on the LCD is directly saved to the database by the user using MySQL.
The result of this research is an automatic sorting system based on barcode id with a data matching process of 1.25 seconds per box and an accuracy of 85%. So as to facilitate the industry in the work process in terms of sorting. The results of the sorting are recorded and saved to the database. In this case, it makes it easier for the industry to analyze the sorted data stored in the database.
