Abstract

Seiring
perkembangan teknologi, membuat mekanisme meriam utama semakin canggih dengan
melibatkan kekuatan ledakan cukup masif.
Pengumpulan data pendukung seperti: data kapal, data pondasi
struktur mencapai titik lelah struktur.
maksimum peak amplitude di setiap variasi rate of fire. Pada sudut penembakan -15o terjadi
deviasi negatif maksimum peak amplitude di setiap variasi rate of fire. Batas maksimum agar
sudut penembakan 85o dan rate of fire sebesar 80 round/min.

One of the weapons commonly used on warships is the main cannon. Along with the development of technology, making the main cannon mechanism more sophisticated by involving a fairly massive explosion force. In order to provide a sense of security and comfort to the user (user) of the warship in operating the cannon, an analysis of the construction that supports the cannon is needed. This research is a study of the dynamic response generated on the deck of the cannon foundation of a warship in operational conditions by looking at variations in the angle of firing of the projectile and the rate of fire capability of the cannon. Collecting supporting data such as: ship data, weapon foundation data, material data, and weapon data for calculating the strength of the weapon foundation. The weapon used on the ship is the Oto Melara 76 mm cannon. The structural material is assumed from the rules made by Lloyd's Register: the part of the ship that is above the water must be made of explosion-proof material or external blast nomenclature (EB1) and use Grade D Steel material. Calculation of the load acting on the foundation and calculation of the recoil force generated by the weapon using the energy calculation formula. The weapon foundation structure data that has been obtained is redrawn by modeling it into the software. Analysis was continued by simulating transient dynamic loading on the model and obtained the value of von mises stress and peak amplitude at each time increment. Comparison of von Mises and maximum allowable stress was carried out to determine the occurrence of plastic deformation in the structure. The calculation of the endurance limit is done by comparing the maximum stress and max to determine whether the structure reaches the fatigue point of the structure. The safety factor review is carried out by comparing the yield stress and maximum stress to determine whether the structure has a safety factor > 1. The conclusion in this study was that the weapon foundation deck structure material in firing conditions at an angle of 45o occurred a maximum positive deviation of the peak amplitude in each variation of the rate of fire. . At a firing angle of -15o there is a maximum negative deviation of the peak amplitude in each variation of the rate of fire. The maximum limit so that the material does not occur plastic deformation, failure at the point of material fatigue, and has a safety factor value of < 1 is in the 10th second firing or about 20 bullets/projectiles that are fired continuously. The greatest strength of the weapon foundation structure occurs at a shooting angle of 85o and a rate of fire of 80 rounds/min.
