Abstract

Setelah melakukan kegiatan Magang Industri selama empat bulan dari tanggal 14 Maret 2022 – 4 Juli 2022. Penulis menarik simpulan bahwa dari hasil pembahasan untuk analisa produktivitas perawatan mesin dengan menggunakan metode TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) pada Cold Ribbed Wire Plant di PT Perwira Indo Wire menunjukkan bahwa tingkat keefektifan dari mesin Cold Ribbed Wire Plant masih jauh dari kata ideal. Hal ini disebabkan oleh faktor Availability Rate, Performance Efficiency, Rate Quality Product dari mesin tersebut memiliki hasil perhitungan nilai persentase yang masih rata-rata normal. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan OEE diperoleh, nilai OEE berkisar antara 34,92% sampai 73,77% kondisi ini menunjukan bahwa kemampuan Cold Ribbed Wire Plant dalam mencapai target dan dalam mencapai efectivitas masih belum mencapai kondisi yang ideal yaitu 85 %. Salah satu penyebab nilai persentase yang kecil tersebut adalah sering terjadi Idle And Minor Stoppage (gangguan kecil dan waktu menganggur) dan Breakdown Losses (Kerusakan mesin). Dari hal tersebut menyebabkan produktivitas kinerja belum optimal dan sebaiknya perawatan diproritaskan pada Cold Ribbed Wire Plant dikarenakan sering terjadi Idle And Minor Stoppage (gangguan kecil dan waktu menganggur) dan Breakdown Losses (Kerusakan mesin). Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut sebaiknya perawatan pada mesin Cold Ribbed Wire Plant lebih ditingkatkan. Apabila perawatan tidak ditingkatkan akan mengakibatkan biaya produksi semakin tinggi yang diakibatkan adanya pengeluaran kerusakan mesin secara mendadak, hal ini sangat berpengaruh bagi keuntungan perusahaan. Selain itu, Perusahaan harus menjadwalkan secara rutin perbaikan mesin sesuai dengan kapasitas mesin dalam berproduksi.

After carrying out Industrial Internship activities for four months from the date March 14, 2022 – July 4, 2022. The author draws the conclusion that from the results of the discussion to analyze the productivity of machine maintenance using the TPM method (Total Productive Maintenance) at the Cold Ribbed Wire Plant at PT Perwira Indo Wire shows that the level of effectiveness of the Cold Ribbed Wire Plant machine is still far away from ideal. This is caused by Availability Rate, Performance factors Efficiency, Rate Quality Product of the machine has a value calculation result
the percentage is still on average normal. Based on the OEE calculation results obtained, OEE values range from 34.92% to 73.77%, this condition shows that Cold Ribbed Wire Plant capability in achieving targets and in achieving effectiveness still has not reached the ideal condition of 85%. One cause this small percentage value is the frequent occurrence of Idle And Minor Stoppage
(minor glitches and idle time) and Breakdown Losses (machine damage). From this, the productivity performance is not optimal and should be maintenance is prioritized at Cold Ribbed Wire Plant due to frequent Idle And Minor Stoppage and Breakdown Losses (engine failure). To overcome this should be maintenance on the machine Cold Ribbed Wire Plant is further improved. If the treatment is not improved it will resulting in higher production costs due to expenses sudden engine damage, this is very influential for profits company. In addition, the Company must routinely schedule machine repairs according to the capacity of the machine in production
