Abstract

Kegiatan pemanenan merupakan salah satu kegiatan dalam produksi kelapa sawit yang krusial dan harus dilakukan sesuai dengan standar. Indonesia merupakan penghasil kelapa sawit terbesar di dunia. Maka dari itu, kebutuhan alat panen dengan jumlah besar, khususnya egrek. Untuk melakukan panen pada pohon sawit yang dengan tinggi di atas 4 meter, pisau egrek dirakit dengan komponen penunjangnya yaitu galah (pipa). Dalam kegiatan panen sawit, salah satu kesalahan pemanen yang sering dilakukan yaitu kesalahan dalam menentukan kematangan buah. Beberapa pengembangan produk dan komponen egrek yang telah dilakukan. Pengembangan terbaru yang dilakukan oleh peneliti yaitu dengan meningkatkan kualitas pisau egrek dengan membuat pisau egrek menggunakan bahan baku SLD dan menciptakan ekstensi galah yang bisa meringankan gaya pemotongan tandan buah dan pelepah yang dalam penggunaannya bersama dengan alat ripeness detector yang dinamakan egrek digital. Pada penelitian ini, dilakukan analisis preferensi egrek digital baik pisau egrek, galah egrek, maupun ripeness detector dengan pendekatan analisis multivariat dengan Choice based conjoint secara modular. Didapat kombinasi atribut dan level yang sesuai dengan preferensi pemanen dan segmentasi pasar produk pada masing-masing produk egrek digital. Kombinasi atribut dan level pisau egrek yang paling diminati yaitu ukuran pisau standard, kualitas bahan SLD (premium), bentuk kelengkungan bisa disesuaikan menggunakan kolongan sudut, berat pisau 650-750 gram, ketajaman dengan pisau yang sudah tajam siap pakai tanpa asah, serta harga Rp 150.000 dengan total nilai utilitas 224,44. Kombinasi atribut dan level galah egrek yang paling diminati yaitu jenis klem putar (dalam), bahan galah berupa aluminium, panjang galah 6 meter, tambahan pegangan galah berupa lapisna karet, harga Rp 500.000, dengan total nilai utilitas 180,1. Kombinasi atribut dan level ripeness detector yang paling diminati oleh pemanen yaitu pemberitahuan kematangan berupa suara alarm, nyala baterai 8 jam, alat penilai kematangan berupa sensor warna, ketepatan deteksi yaitu sangat akurat (95%), ketahanan tahan banting/jatuh, harga Rp 1.000.000 dengan total nilai utilitas 270,33. Pada simulasi pangsa pasar untuk beberapa skenario, produk varian baru ED SLD 2 memiliki peluang yang besar untuk bersaing dengan pasar produk existing. Produk galah egrek varian baru yaitu “Galah ED” memiliki peluang untuk bersaing dengan produk existing namun produk existing 1 masih menguasai pangsa pasar galah egrek. Pada produk Ripeness detector, produk RD Mod 3 memiliki peluang yang besar untuk menguasai pangsa pasar produk ripeness detector. Untuk segmentasi pasar, pada pisau egrek, segmen yang terbentuk yaitu “The Economyst” dan “The Quality Seeker”. Pada galah egrek, segmen yang terbentuk yaitu “The Convenience Seeker” dan “The Economist”. Serta untuk ripeness detector , segmen yang terbentuk yaitu “The Economist and Quality Seeker” dan “The Convenience Seeker”.

Harvesting is one of the crucial activities in palm oil production and must be carried out according to standards. Indonesia is the largest palm oil producer in the world. Therefore, the need for harvesting tools in large quantities, especially egrek. To harvest oil palm trees with a height of more than 4 meters, the egrek knife is assembled with its supporting components, namely poles (pipes). In oil palm harvesting activities, one of the mistakes harvesters often make is the error in determining fruit ripeness. Several product developments and egrek components have been carried out. The latest development carried out by researchers is to improve the quality of the egrek knife by making the egrek knife using SLD raw materials and creating a pole extension that can ease the force of cutting fruit bunches and midribs when used together with a ripeness detector tool called a digital egrek. In this study, an analysis of digital preferences for egrek was carried out, both for egrek knives, egrek poles, and ripeness detectors using a multivariate analysis approach with a modular choice-based conjoint. A combination of attributes and levels is obtained according to harvester preferences and product market segmentation for each digital egrek product. The combination of attributes and levels of the egrek knife that is most in demand is the standard blade size, SLD (premium) material quality, the shape of the curvature can be adjusted using a hollow angle, the knife weight is 650-750 grams, the sharpness with a sharp knife is ready to use without sharpening, and the price is IDR 150,000 with a total utility value of 224.44. The most desirable combination of attributes and levels of the egrek pole is the type of swivel clamp (inside), the material of the pole is aluminum, the length of the pole is 6 meters, the additional pole grip is in the form of rubber coating, the price is IDR 500,000, with a total utility value of 180.1. The combination of attributes and ripeness detector level that harvesters are most interested in is ripeness notification in the form of an alarm sound, 8 hours of battery life, ripeness assessment tool in the form of a color sensor, detection accuracy which is very accurate (95%), drop/drop resistance, price Rp. 1,000,000 with a total utility value of 270.33. In the market share simulation for several scenarios, the new product variant ED SLD 2 has a great opportunity to compete with the existing product market. The new variant of the galah egrek product, namely "Galah ED" has the opportunity to compete with existing products, but the existing product 1 still dominates the pole egrek market share. In the ripeness detector product, the RD Mod 3 product has a great opportunity to dominate the market share of ripeness detector products. For market segmentation, for the egrek knife, the segments formed are "The Economyt" and "The Quality Seeker". On the pole egrek, the segments formed are "The Convenience Seeker" and "The Economist". As well as for the ripeness detector, the segments formed are "The Economist and Quality Seeker" and "The Convenience Seeker".
