Abstract

Pasar Rakyat Sidomulyo adalah pasar rakyat pertama di Kabupaten Lamongan, Jawa Timur. Pasar ini resmi dibuka pada tahun 2019 dan beroperasi setiap hari mulai sore hari hingga pagi hari. Pasar ini masih memiliki permasalahan utama yaitu kondisi pasar yang belum memenuhi persyaratan SNI terutama aspek kenyamanan padahal menurut Menteri Perdagangan adanya SNI pasar rakyat dapat meningkatkan daya saing. Oleh sebab itu, perlu diadakan revitalisasi pasar untuk memenuhi hal tersebut, salah satunya melalui tinjauan desain interior. Perumusan konsep desain dilakukan dengan metode Design Thinking. Data yang digunakan berupa data primer dan sekunder. Sumber data primer meliputi hasil observasi, wawancara dan kuesioner. Sementara itu, sumber data sekunder dilakukan dengan tinjauan pustaka serta studi banding. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis untuk mendapatkan ide dan solusi sebagai usulan konsep desain hingga ke tahap pengembangan alternatif dan pemilihan desain terbaik melalui weighted method. Hasil konsep redesain interior yang digunakan yaitu menggunakan dasar pemikiran ‘Smart Market’. Dasar pemikiran Smart Market dijabarkan dalam tiga konsep makro yaitu education, technology dan modern. Ketiga konsep makro tersebut dijabarkan ke dalam konsep mikro yang lebih aplikatif. Konsep education berhubungan dengan pengenalan jenis produk, pengenalan jenis sampah serta kemudahan akses bagi pengguna buta huruf. Sedangkan, konsep technology berhubungan dengan digitalisasi, teknologi untuk penghawaan dan pencahayaan. Terakhir, konsep modern yaitu berhubungan dengan interior instagramable, desain yang simple dan bersih, serta penggunaan furnitur multifungsi. Dengan konsep Smart Market ini pasar rakyat memiliki nilai hampir sama seperti pasar modern dan siap bersaing dengan pasar lainnya.

Sidomulyo People's Market is the first people's market in Lamongan Regency, East Java. This market was officially opened in 2019 and operates every day from late afternoon to early morning. This market still has a major problem, namely market conditions that do not meet SNI requirements, especially the comfort aspect, even though according to the Minister of Trade, the existence of SNI for people's markets can increase competitiveness. Therefore, it is necessary to revitalize the market to meet this, one of which is through an interior design review. The formulation of the design concept was carried out using the Design Thinking method. The data used are primary and secondary data. Primary data sources include the results of observations, interviews, and questionnaires. Meanwhile, secondary data sources were carried out by literature review and comparative studies. The data obtained were analyzed to obtain ideas and solutions as proposed design concepts up to the stage of developing alternatives and selecting the best design through the weighted method. The results of the interior redesign concept used are using the 'Smart Market' rationale. The Smart Market rationale is described in three macro concepts, namely education, technology and modern. The three macro concepts are translated into micro concepts that are more applicable. The concept of education relates to the introduction of product types, the introduction of waste types and ease of access for illiterate users. Meanwhile, the technology concept relates to digitalization, technology for ventilation and lighting. Finally, the modern concept is related to instagramable interiors, simple and clean design, and the use of multifunctional furniture. With this Smart Market concept, public markets have almost the same value as modern markets and are ready to compete with other markets.
